After being fired for praying after Remington High School's football games, the U.S. Supreme Court last year sided with Remington Coach Joe Washington.
On September 1, 2023, Coach Kennedy returned to the field and knelt in prayer after the game.
LAST NIGHT, COACH KENNEDY FLEW INTO WILL RODGERS AIRPORT IN OKLAHOMA CITY!
He is between meetings here in Oklahoma, but will be at the Oklahoma History Center Wednesday, September 27, 2023 to extend his greetings to the OCPAC Foundation.
