MARK YOUR CALENDAR State Board of Education October 26, 2023 Meeting | | BOB LINN Reclaiming the Soul of America | Last week, we heard a seasoned Washington insider deliver a convincing argument for protecting the separation of powers and for beginning the movement to take power out of Washington, D.C. and return it to the states. | | This Wednesday, Curtis Bowers will follow up on this theme as he talks about the elitist’s successful grab for power by virtue of having captured the minds and hearts of the American people through media and education.
Our schools have failed broadly. The failure is more than the current academic debacle from higher education to kindergarten. | | Our schools have failed to be “American.”
Said in another way, they have failed to be overtly Christian. There are two books which have moved nations more than any other: the Bible and the Communist Manifesto.
The Bible is the ideological text of Western Civilization and the scientific revolution. The Bible was also the founding text of American government. America’s freedom is based in its Christian theology.
For the past few generations, that life-giving ideological well has been replaced. Mythology has invaded academia in the form of secularism, humanism, and atheism. |  | | To execute the expansive evisceration of religion of all kinds from public life is a surreptitious move to reduce the identity of the nation to only one religion: radical atheism.
The silence of the American pulpit combined with the loud voice of economic and political elitists have stolen the American soul.
We are in the midst of a revolution of the American mind.
It is as the Italian intellectual leader, Augusto Del Noce said that, starting with Rousseau and Marx:
Total revolution implies the replacement of religion by politics as the source of man’s liberation, since evil is a consequence of society … and not of an original sin. As varied as revolutionary forms can be, their common feature is, in this sense, the correlation between the elevation of politics to religion and the negation of the supernatural. |  | | The promotion of gender fantasies we are witnessing in America today is the move to a fluid and undefined humanity which transforms itself at will because of its having been untethered from the solid reality of the transcendent from which we came. It is, in the end, a move from Christianity to gnostic nihilism.
In his book, Character of Nations, Angelo Codevilla writes:
Fyodor Dostoevsky and Nikolai Berdayev had forseen it: The socialist movement would forcibly banish God from the Russian soul and would fill Russia with nihilists. |  | | Quoting again from Del Noce:
Revolution means replacing meta-physics with meta-humanity, in which mankind will acquire those powers that it already possesses potentially, but from which it alienated itself during the development of history, projecting them outside of itself in creating God. Hence, the idea of revolution as complete transformation implies negation of every dependence, i.e., radical atheism, and also the negation of an unchanging human essence (and thus of eternal truths "worth" handing down) and of an unchanging "common sense."
Secularism, humanism, and atheism are the ingredients for centralized governments which enrich the few and impoverish the many.

Lenin’s Stalin, Mao, and many more demonstrated in the 220th century that with a godless government comes a heartless government.
The democide of atheism has claimed the lives of an estimated 262 million people who have been killed by their own government. |  | The soul of America has been solen and hidden from the coming generations. Until that soul is returned, we have no more hope than to those living under the atheistic tyranny of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). | Dr Byron Sunderland, Chaplain of the United States Senate, wrote of the American identity: | | This is a Christian nation, first in name, and secondly of the many and mighty elements of a pure Christianity which have given it character and shaped its destiny form the beginning. It is pre-eminently the land of the Bible, of the Christian Church, and of the Christian Sabbath. It is the land of great and extensive and oft-repeated revivals of a spiritual religion, - the land of a free conscience and of free speech, - the land of noble charities and of manifold and earnest efforts for the elevation and welfare of the human race. The chief security and glory of the United States of America has been, is now, and will be forever, the prevalence and domination of the Christian Faith.

The dumbing is more than scholastic dumbing. It is a dumbing in the realm of presuppositions, epistemology, and history.
America has been robbed not only of its mind, but of its heart and soul as well.
Only a new crop of Puritans and men like Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and a host of other founders grounded in Christendom will restore our once great and free land.
National restoration will come only through Christ, just as it did for them. | | We are in desperate need of returning our nation and our state to Biblical foundations.
