When our speaker this week wrote his book on leadership, he quoted early on from this early American leader as having said, "It is by no means that an officer of the Navy should be a capable mariner ... He should be as well a gentleman of liberal education, refined manners, punctilious courtesy and the nicest sense of personal honor."
This theme resonates throughout the book as a refreshing contrast to the shallowness we see in so many who occupy positions which seem to expose inadequate preparation for effective leadership.
He closes his book on leadership by suggesting the necessity of "Esse Quam Videri." It is a Latin phrase which means "to be rather than to seem to be."
Admiral Slavonic stands in sharp contrast to the direction of the U.S. military under the "leadership" of the Democrats. He will speak of his passion for America and will outline the keys to turning America back to greatness.

Fired by Oklahoma City School Board for not wearing a mask | | Last week, the Oklahoma School Board fired Dr. James Taylor and five other teachers were fired for not wearing masks. Oklahoma law was placed in force this year to make it illegal for government (public) schools to mandate masks (SB658). | | The man below is the superintendent of the Oklahoma City Public Schools (OKCPS). He is seen here in a meeting unmasked. It appears that thinks himself above his teachers just as do to the far-leftists who are in the highest places of American government. The public display of hypocrisy is repugnant. | | Let me elaborate on the word "hypocrisy" for the sake of emphasis regarding the soul of the leadership of the OKCPS. Hypocrisy is the "practice of engaging in the same behavior or activity for which one criticises another; moral self-contradiction whereby the behavior of one or more people belies their own claimed or implied possession of certain beliefs, standards, or virtues."

I reviewed his book, Leadership in Action. It is apparent that the core of leadership not just in the Admiral’s mind, but in the minds of so many leaders he served with and those who went before him, was character.
Without it, one is an empty shell. Empty shells are unable to provide what is needed to lead men in the defense of Western Civilization.
It is the character of men like Admiral Slavonic that has defended the American homeland, the pinnacle of the Western achievement in culture.
I wanted to focus on this a bit as it is clear to me that the mechanics of leadership do indeed fall flat without a foundation not only in moral integrity, but a great deal more.
As American education has fallen prey to the amorality of secularism, we have become a nation of people who have lost the connection to a Christian conscience in education, government, and all public forums.
As a society, we piece ourselves together on the scraps of what remains of the Christianity (Christendom) our founders gave us.
Our leaders no longer nurture the soul and its reflections of divinity. Governments are left with only a mechanical apparatus with which to tame the masses. They have no depth of soul with which to lead them. | Only as America sees a renewal of the church and a profound spiritual awakening of its citizenry, will America undergo the restoration needed to again be a beacon of light to the world.
The world now stands on impoverished foundations of man without his God. We must re-think the ground upon which we stand in order to restore the matrix of humanity.
Governments intended to guard and protect have become the enemy of mankind under the leadership of those who deny the God who made them.
Men like Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, and many others have seen the world as if it were their own rather than a treasure given by God to be nurtured and protected.
We just stepped out of a century that saw human life extinguished by the hundreds of millions by their own countrymen who had ascended to power with a shallow ideology of the world and the role of humankind. |
He spoke of a wide range of thinkers when he said, “ … they held that Christianity (our God) had shaped the West and a return to Christianity could still save it.”
He later emphasized that “The apostacy of Christianity is exposing the entire West to the risk of a grave cultural and political crisis, and perhaps even to a collapse of civilization.”
Dr. Marcello Pera teaches political philosophy at the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome. He has been a professor and a visiting fellow at many universities throughout the world, including the United States. In 2001, he became the President of the Italian Senate, a position he held for five years.
Dr. Pera presents a lesson which must be learned by leaders at all levels of society. This is an imperative for those who occupy state and federal offices. It is equally important for those who lead in our city councils and school boards. The events of 2020 showed how important they are for those who serve as mayor in America's cities.
It is especially important that parents and the men who occupy the pulpits of America know that Christianity is not meant for the closet, but as a world-changing platform which enables all mankind to be nurtured and to prosper. |

Oceana is a totalitarian state ruled by ruthless "Thought Police" where the citizens live in fear of "Big Brother" and his impending threats of torture and death to those who do not conform to state-sanctioned ideas.
Winston is the novel's protagonist who wants to maintain his individualism, fights secretly against "The Party" but, in the end, is transformed into a loyal subject of "Big Brother."
TOLKIEN'S Lord of the Ring | Later in the article, Dr. Piper talks about the state of American higher education using imagery from J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings.

Time to Fight for your Kids Their Souls are in the Balance
If you feel as if you are watching the intentional destruction of your culture and your kids, you’re right. It’s not just a bad dream.
It is real. It’s planned. It’s targeted. It’s relentless.
And it is being carried out in your own back yard in your own public schools.
It doesn’t matter where you live. Whether it be in the crazy land of Gavin Newsom or the bumbling buffoonery of the Beltway, you now reside in Oceania, and your children are Winston.
Consider just a smattering of the recent news.
Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe tells the voters of The Old Dominion that they can go pound sand if they want any input in directing their children’s education. McAuliffe said:
I’m not going to let parents come into schools and actually… make their own decisions ... I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.
The Washington Post responded by opining that:
parents don’t have the right to shape their kids education.
Ms. Randi Weingarten, the American Federation of Teachers president, chimed in by applauding both Mr. McAuliffe and the WaPo:
Great Piece on parents’ rights, she tweeted.
And in the meantime, we now know that the National School Boards Association colluded with the White House in labeling all concerned parents “domestic terrorists.” The result is that the FBI may now visit your home if you dare complain about your daughter getting raped in a public-school restroom because of the lunacy these people are teaching your kids.
This, my friends, is the state of American education, and the progressives who have seized control of your schools are not even hiding their intentions any longer. They flaunt their plan with impunity as they parrot the very words of Joseph Goebbels:
Youth belongs to us, and we will yield them to no one.
America’s ivory tower has become Barad-dûr. Rather than Fiat Lux, it is now the Dark Tower, and those waving Sauron’s banner now seem to care more about being the obedient minions of Mordor than the protectors of your kid’s soul.
These Uruk-hai are ugly in heart and mind. Theirs is a land of control. They despise freedom. They hate liberty. They march in obedience to the Prince of the Power of the Air while they mock those who follow the Prince of Peace. Like Gollum, they growl “my precious, my precious,” as they cling to Isildur’s Bane. Grasping, clinching, and caressing The Ring; chanting, praying, mumbling:
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them. | And while all of this is happening, Big Brother Barak, Saruman himself, emerges from behind the curtain with ambitions of casting his spell. “The truth is a lie, and that the lie is the truth,” he incants. “Evil is good, and good is evil. Bitter is sweet, and sweet is bitter.”
The grand and glorious “O” - the high priest of the Church of Holy Wokeness - this Pied Piper of a man whose melodious tune has mesmerized an entire nation into believing that up is down and down is up and that men are women and women are men, now shouts from the podium: “We don’t have time to be wasting on these phony, trumped-up culture wars. This [is] fake outrage… That’s not what you need…”
Well, Brother “O,”:
Tell that to the Virginia parents of a 15-year-old girl forced to engage in sodomy in a school restroom with a “transgender” boy pretending to be a girl.
Tell that to the Florida mom who is outraged that her elementary-age children are being assigned books with pictures of minor boys having oral sex with adult men.
Tell that to Oklahomans who are incensed that their sons and daughters are being taught to judge one another by the color of their skin rather than the content of their character.
Tell that to all of us who simply want our schools to teach our kids how to read, how to write, how to use proper pronouns, how to count, and that science, i.e., biology, is real.
Each day it becomes more and more apparent that your local schools and their puppet politicians despise you. They want your children, and they will leave no stone unturned in their dark and ugly world to get them. Just listen. They are admitting it. Their agenda is in full view for all who have eyes to see and ears to hear.
No, your outrage is not “fake.” Your kids are your kids. They are your responsibility.
They are not the Big Brother’s, and you should fight as if you’re fighting against hell itself - to the very gates of Mordor - for your right to “train them up in the way they should go; so that when they are old, they will not depart.” |

| STATE LEADERS VOW TO HELP TEACHERS fired by OKLAHOMA CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS GET BACK IN THE CLASSROOM OKLAHOMA CITY (Nov. 4, 2021) – Today, Secretary of Education Ryan Walters, Representative Rhonda Baker, and Senator Adam Pugh denounced the decision by the Oklahoma City Public Schools Board of Education to fire six talented educators for making personal decisions about their own health.
In September, a District Judge made it clear that due to SB 658 schools could only mandate masks if they allowed exemptions for medical, religious, or personal reasons. Other Oklahoma districts have permitted students and teachers to opt-out of mandates, but OKCPS decided to put politics before education.
The decision comes when school leaders across the state are struggling to recruit and retain teachers. Just this week, staffing issues forced Tulsa Public Schools to eliminate the sixth grade at McClure Elementary School. Those students now must go straight to middle school, or transfer to another district.
These state leaders are committed to doing everything they can to get the six teachers let go by OKCPS back in the classroom where they belong. | “As a teacher, I understand it is now more important than ever to have a quality teacher in the classroom.
OKCPS has shown that their students can safely attend schools without masks or vaccines and it is my sincere hope that Superintendent McDaniel would value the personal freedoms of his employees and offer them the same respect he has shown other OKSPS families and return these teachers to the classroom.” - Secretary of Education Ryan Walters. | "During a time when we are already facing a teacher shortage, and we need teachers in the classroom, I do not believe it is a wise decision to fire teachers with a history of high evaluations.

The common thread through all of these studies is that our students' success depends on in-person instruction given by quality educators.
The decision by the OKCPS Board of Education to terminate these teachers, without allowing for personal or religious exemptions, seems to be less about doing what is right for our kids and more about sending a message to other teachers who might feel the same way.
This pandemic has been difficult for us all, especially our children, and we need to do whatever it takes to make sure they can get back to some semblance of normalcy in the classroom. It is time we flush the phony Rs out of the Republican side of the party's ticket.
Joy Hofmeister revealed herself recently to the general public. The only people surprised were those who hadn't followed this charlatan's career.
But there are more still lurking in key positions.
One of the things I saw while working for Governor Frank Keating and Tom Daxon (then SA&I) was the way that the bureaucrats who had obtained their jobs because of their lifelong Democrat status scurry to re-register as Republicans as they saw the state's voters turning R.
Much of the problem in reforming the layers of corruption and incompetence (see the scandal at the Oklahoma State Department of Health as a recent example) that had built up over nearly a century of one party rule have been these 'lifelong' Ds who changed party. Their views of major issues did NOT change with their party affiliation.
Case in point is the current State Auditor and Inspector Cindy Byrd. Ms. Byrd's job performance more closely mirrors that of the person who hired her---former State Auditor and convicted criminal Jeff McMahon who to no one's surprise was a D.
Ms. Byrd was recently exposed by a friend who did the research as one of those lifelong Ds who only changed parties when it became more advantageous to be a R.
Anyone who read her 'audit' of Epic Charter schools would be on target if they suspected that Byrd and Hofmeister conspired to try to attack the biggest threat the public school establishment saw to their monopoly.
The recent Grand Jury exposed the sham that Ms. Byrd's attempt to smear Epic was when they returned ZERO indictments despite her multiple accusations.
Her attempt to bury the truth of the recent Department of Health scandal by obfuscation and attempted intimidation of Bob Linn's pursuit thru Open Record's requests is more indication of which party she really belongs in.
This state deserves another Tom Daxon, who as you may recall exposed the huge county commissioner scandal. I've also spent many years in the Southern Baptist Church. In addition, my wife and I founded a PCA church in our living room many years ago. In spite of my close relationship with all these institutions, the evidence of their fall from Godliness is overwhelming.
In the near future, I plan to focus on the developments within the organization I once knew as Campus Crusade for Christ.
It is important to expose these enemies who have crept into Christendom. These have entered our Christian institutions in an effort to destroy the Church. The "gospel" they promote will bear no fruit. Marxist ideology mixed with Bible verses will produce neither salvation nor the health, peace, and prosperity of civilizations.
Marxist concepts like social justice, critical race theory and the myths inherent in the concept of "white privilege" are ungodly, contrary to all of the Scriptures, and represent evil and destructive weapons designed to destroy the church, the family, and societies. They are drenched in narcissism and hatred.
These ideas, now permeating most of our seminaries and academic institutions (beginning in elementary school), will soon destroy the nation if we do not expose them for the evil they represent. | PLEASE HELP US FINISH THIS PROJECT BY CONTRIBUTING HERE.
