Sign up to get your own copy here. | BOB LINN The Fantasy that Infiltrates the Classroom | Finding the ideological enemies of truth this Thanksgiving was made easy as I accompanied my oldest granddaughter to see Marvel Comics newest release, The Eternals. It is the product of fanciful story- telling.
The art of highly successful fanciful story-telling was given birth by a devout Christian, George MacDonald. He was both a pastor and writer and noted pioneer of the literary genre in which many have prospered.
Men like Lewis Carroll (Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland), L. Frank Baum (Wizard of Oz), J.R.R. Tolkien (The Hobbit & The Lord of the Rings) prospered in his literary wake. | C.S. Lewis said of MacDonald, “Picking up a copy of Phantastes (1858) one day at a train-station bookstall, I began to read. A few hours later, I knew that I had crossed a great frontier.”
Christian author G.K. Chesterton said that MacDonald’s The Princess and the Goblin (1872) “made a difference to my whole existence.”
Like MacDonald, J.R.R. Tolkien employed his great gifting to demonstrate the redemptive potential of story-telling fantasy. | In contrast to MacDonald and Tolkien, The Eternals presents a storyline that weaves its mythology into actual human history and posits an alternative to Biblical Truth. | The writer crafted a god (Arishem, the Prime Celestial) who is imperfect and who crafted a flawed plan for history.
The movie secures its place in a category I would call the “Theater of the Antagonist” by virtue of its character, Phastos.
Phastos is one of the movie’s “good guys” who is the team’s designer of intelligent weapons and technology.
He is shown in his homosexual partnership as the movie progresses, a technique used for years in television and movies to reduce American morality to dust.
See how The Eternals helps to establish goals #25, 26 in the Communist Party's list of 45 goals for America here. | Added to the theatrical misery is the pre-movie advertisements which includes a pro-LGBTQ and pro-CRT advertisement for a product called “Life Water”, a member of Pepsi’s stable of drinks and part of their WOKE agenda. | In her book, Debunking Howard Zinn, author Mary Grabar exposes the fantasy which our children are presented with as history in our schools. From kindergarten through the university, Grabar and many like her are in a battle to re-establish truth in the classroom.
Regrettably, attending the American educational machine is perhaps no better than viewing a Marvel Comics production.
Harvey Klehr is professor emeritus of politics and history at Emory University. After reading Mary Grabar’s book, he said:
Mary Grabar has produced a devastating analysis of the lies, plagiarism, violation of academic standards, and simple-minded platitudes that characterize Howard Zinn’s best-selling A People’s History of the United States. That Zinn is taken seriously as a historian is a sad commentary on the teachers who rely on his fantasies. | The impact of Zinn’s Marxist-leaning historical fantasy in Oklahoma was demonstrated when, in April or 2019, Oklahoma City council member, JoBeth Hamon chose to place her hand for her oath of office on Zinn’s A People’s History rather than the Bible.
The College Board promotes Zinn’s version of history for the Advanced Placement (AP) U.S. History exam by including his books in the AP teacher-training seminars. | When Herbert Schlossberg wrote his masterpiece, Idols for Destruction, he penetrated the mythology inherent in the many and diverse worlds of superstition which represents the building blocks of the secular world.
He spoke in particular of the deceptive role played by our academic institutions when he speaks of the “myths of secularity that people have wrapped around academic disciplines … Expelling the biblical presuppositions that were the only ones that could provide a foundation for rationality, we unwittingly invited the irrational to join us.” | Bill Federer noted C.S. Lewis this past weekend when he quoted him as saying:
All that we call human history – money, poverty, ambition, war, prostitution, classes, empires, slavery – is the long terrible story of man trying to find something other than God which will make him happy. | This reminds me of a point that was made in the introduction to Rushdoony’s Intellectual Schizophrenia.
Speaking of the efforts of the secularists to shape culture, the writer states:
The homemade heaven he tries to fashion on earth – in totalitarian lands – resembles an old-fashioned hell. He aspires to the role of deity and reverts to sub-humanity.
This brings to mind the life of the famed proponent of atheism, Fredrich Nietzche, who envisioned man becoming a god through his “superman.” His life came to an end in an insane asylum.
Rather than destine our children to a life of Hellish make-believe through a twisted educational system, please join our army of Christian patriots working to restore Oklahoma’s educational institutions as places where the American dream can prosper and freedom endure.

| CONSERVING OUR GREATEST VALUES
by Everett Piper Sunday, November 21, 2021 | One of the principles of conservativism is conserving things. | Conservatives are conservationists. Yes, we believe in clean air and clean water. Yes, we believe in hugging a tree once in a while or maybe even an owl or a whale.
We manage our livestock and land well, not just out of prudency but because of principle.
We know that one of God’s first charges to mankind was to be good stewards of God’s creation. Conservatives conserve what we have been given. Conservatives conserve what is ours. | In addition to understanding the value of our fields and our streams, conservatives recognize something else just as important to human existence.
We believe in the importance of ideas, and we hold that they too should be conserved.
Certain truths should simply be left untouched and honored. | Like a good wine, some concepts get better with age. They have stood the test of time. They have been defended by reason. They have been confirmed by revelation. They have been validated by experience.
Some ideas have been so vigorously vetted and well stated that they should be left unedited and approached with humility and respect. Some things should just be conserved and not changed.
As we prepare to celebrate this upcoming Thursday with our family and friends, we have one of those ideas before us.
Consider the following: | “The year that is drawing towards its close has been filled with the blessings of fruitful fields and healthful skies. To these bounties, which are so constantly enjoyed that we are prone to forget the source from which they come, others have been added, which are of so extraordinary a nature, that they cannot fail to penetrate and soften even the heart which is habitually insensible to the ever-watchful providence of Almighty God. | “In the midst of [strife] … which has sometimes seemed to foreign States to invite and to provoke their aggressions, peace has been preserved with all nations, order has been maintained, the laws have been respected and obeyed, and harmony has prevailed everywhere except in the theatre of military conflict …

Some ideas need no rebuttal. Some ideas need no debate. Some ideas just need to be conserved.

RNC Chairwoman, Ronna McDaniel, recently went to bat again for the LGBT agenda at a Log Cabin Republican event, Spirit of Lincoln Gala.
At this event, McDaniel said the RNC is "committed" to working with the Log Cabin Republicans. She called the organization "a partner to fight for our country's future." In case you didn’t know, The Log Cabin Republicans are an LGBTQ organization.
Our State and National Party platform makes it very clear that the Republican Party defines marriage between one man and one woman, and we support the foundation of the family as it is defined in the biblical sense.

If the Republican Party continues to compromise who we say we are, then where do the people go for liberty and freedom? If we continually compromise we will be no different than the Democrat party.

The State Auditor and Inspector office may consider this case closed but the citizens of Oklahoma still want to know who at the Oklahoma State Department of Health orchestrated the phony fiscal crisis and how supposed watchdog agencies including the State Auditor and Inspector were not competent enough to know immediately there was no need for 198 innocent state employees to lose their jobs or Oklahoma taxpayers to provide $30 million that was never needed.
I find it interesting that now my investigation helped flush the alleged affair of the former Attorney General and the Chief Operating Officer of the Oklahoma State Department of Health out in the open that the State Auditor and Inspector REFUSES to provide the proof that no collusion took place between your office and that former Attorney General to cover up the actions or inactions of any individual or individuals involved.
That refusal alone says volumes about the transparency of the current State Auditor and Inspector but is consistent with the behavior of Ms. Cindy Byrd from the beginning of this pursuit of the truth.

I've also spent many years in the Southern Baptist Church. In addition, my wife and I founded a PCA church in our living room many years ago. In spite of my close relationship with all these institutions, the evidence of their fall from Godliness is overwhelming.
In the near future, I plan to focus on the developments within the organization I once knew as Campus Crusade for Christ.
It is important to expose these enemies who have crept into Christendom. These have entered our Christian institutions in an effort to destroy the Church. The "gospel" they promote will bear no fruit. Marxist ideology mixed with Bible verses will produce neither salvation nor the health, peace, and prosperity of civilizations.
Marxist concepts like social justice, critical race theory and the myths inherent in the concept of "white privilege" are ungodly, contrary to all of the Scriptures, and represent evil and destructive weapons designed to destroy the church, the family, and societies. They are drenched in narcissism and hatred.
