Sign up to get your own copy here. | BOB LINN Restoring the Mind of America | When Samuel Blumenfeld and Alex Newman wrote Crimes of the Educators, they added a subtitle which could very well have been used as a subtitle for Cynical Theories, the book this week’s OCPAC speaker recently wrote.
Blumenfeld and Newman’s subtitle reads: How Utopians are using government schools to destroy America’s children.
This is akin to Dr. James Lindsay’s subtitle: How activist scholarship made everything about race, gender, and identity … and why this harms everybody.
Dr. Lindsay is right. It is as a result of American education that our nation, its people, and its churches are under a vicious assault. | Blumenfeld and Newman spoke of it in terms of criminal activity. They documented their charge of public-school treason without much effort.
They simply quoted the April 1983 publication of the National Commission on Excellence in Education.
Its final report, a nation at risk, said: “If an unfriendly foreign power had attempted to impose on America the mediocre educational performance that exists today, we might well have viewed it as an act of war. As it stands, we have allowed this to happen to ourselves.” | "In other words, our educators are engaged in a deliberate dumbing down of America."
Treason took center stage in 2020 as Cultural Marxist leaders on American soil employed Black Lives Matter, the Democrat Party (and its grip on city governments), and Covid. These were all used to shut down churches and small businesses (and never forget that the large corporations thrived!). In addition, they put the fear of governmental tyranny into the hearts of Americans.
Who would have guessed that the most transforming political movement in America, the 2020 revolution, was ignited by the small ideological sparks created by the writing of little-known members of academia busy re-writing America’s epistemological foundations?
Ideas have profound consequences. Just read the opening pages of the Word of God! | When mathematics PhD, Dr. James Lindsay, began his work to uncover what was behind the insanity of an educational, political, corporate, and entertainment world gone hopelessly mad, he found it was in fact a movement in academia.
The American classroom had become a rudder guiding a revolution.
Politically-minded activists in "higher education" sought to eviscerate from America all the sanity and rationality embedded in Western Civilization (and Christianity).
They claim they are giving cultures considered to be "backward" the justice thought to have been denied them by the politically and economically privileged (white people).
These postmodern political activists contend they are establishing a "hand-up" to America's sub-dominant cultures.
In reality, they only position themselves to the the tyrannical ogres they accuse the dominant culture of being and offer nothing but intellectual, spiritual, moral, and economic poverty.
THE RISE AND TRIUMPH OF THE MODERN SELF | Another academic watchdog is Carl R. Trueman, PhD, University of Aberdeen.
Dr. Trueman has occupied a number of academic posts. He served as Princeton University’s William E. Simon Fellow in Religion and Public Life.
A member of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, he brings classic fundamental theology to bear on the responsibility of the church to shape culture in a God-honoring fashion.
It stands as a companion of Dr. Lindsay’s 2020 publication, Cynical Theories.
He speaks of the way culture has lost any sense of mimesis (fixed universal truth) as it has decayed by means of its having embraced poiesis (an undefined world molded only by the whim of autonomous human beings).
It is as if even our pulpits have caved to the lust of mankind to ascend to ultimate divinity. Without any shame, we have formally embraced an idea first proposed by Lucifer to Eve and later codified by Frederick Nietzsche in his Ubermensch and his concept of the deification of man. | As a result, we have become a culture gone mad. As you may know, Nietzsche himself died a madman, spending his final days in a mental asylum.
Speaking of mental asylums, be sure to read what Open the Books discovered last week. (According to the research that $500,000 of your CRT "academic" tax dollars did, fish names are racist. See article below.)
These ideas were birthed in the soil of minds with no foundation other than their own limited reasoning. They have given birth to the 21st century snowflake and the frantic and desperate search for safe places.
The fragility of the American people is the fruit of the fragility of the mind which has not discovered epistemological bedrock. The Bedrock uncovered by the presupposition that the Bible is the Word of God.
Without this presupposition, ultimate authority has vanished from the mind of 21st century man. Morality is turned on its head. The purveyors of objective (Biblical) truth are accused of hate speech with an attached criminality that warrants not only dismissal from employment, but also incarceration.
I'll stop here.
This Wednesday, we will hear from Lucia O'Connor. She and her husband (Attorney General, John O'Connor), stand solidly behind our effort to expose and terminate this war against mankind. She will speak briefly, but profoundly, of what is coming from our new Attorney General.

7 minutes with DR. WILLIAM S. BANOWSKY | Dr. William S. Banowsky was one of the most unique Presidents at the University of Oklahoma. He was the charismatic leader who rebuilt Pepperdine University and made it a world-class institution.

“Thus, sociopolitical power is the ultimate determiner of what is true.”
These are only some of the foundational elements of his message. They have established him as one of America's leading experts on the subject of Critical Race Theory.
He closes chapter three with this:
“Their work is of very little practical relevance to people living in previously colonized countries, who are trying to deal with the political and economic aftermath. There is little reason to believe that previously colonized people have any use for a postcolonial Theory or decoloniality that argues that math is a tool of Western imperialism, that sees alphabetical literacy as colonial technology and postcolonial approbation, that views research as the production of meta-texts of colonial knowledge, that confronts France and the United States about their understanding of big black butts."

It took $583,652 to determine that calling fish "rough" or "trash" is the product of the dominance of white males in the North American freshwater fishery industry for the past three centuries. | These four professors received $583,652 in collective annual salaries.
Here is how it breaks down:
UC Davis paid the two professors a combined $311,123 in wages (FY2019).
The Oklahoma and Wisconsin professors were paid a collective $272,529 (FY2020).
All pay records are publicly posted online at OpenTheBooks.com and are the latest year available.
Over the year-and-a-half this study was done, additional research was done by an unpaid professor emeritus at UC Davis, a UC Davis postdoc researcher, a UC Davis PhD candidate, a researcher from the private University of Notre Dame and researcher with the non-profit Nature Conservancy.
The researchers argue that since white males have valued only select types of fish and dominated the management of freshwater fisheries, the native fish faced discrimination. These native fishes, the study says, historically fed Black and Indigenous people of color and immigrants.
There is a “bias against ‘rough fish’ — a pejorative ascribing low-to-zero value for countless native fishes,” the study states. “One product of this bias is that biologists have ironically worked against conservation of diverse fishes for over a century, and these problems persist today.”
These problems include allowing overfishing of native species, which leads to a decline in their population, the study said.

In the near future, I plan to focus on the developments within the organization I once knew as Campus Crusade for Christ.
It is important to expose these enemies who have crept into Christendom. These have entered our Christian institutions in an effort to destroy the Church. The "gospel" they promote will bear no fruit. Marxist ideology mixed with Bible verses will produce neither salvation nor the health, peace, and prosperity of civilizations.
Marxist concepts like social justice, critical race theory and the myths inherent in the concept of "white privilege" are ungodly, contrary to all of the Scriptures, and represent evil and destructive weapons designed to destroy the church, the family, and societies. They are drenched in narcissism and hatred.
