CORRECTION: HB 2673 | Ask Education Committee to release FIDUCIARY FUNDS to children

HELP BAIL OUR INNER CITY CHILDREN
OUT OF THEIR EDUCATIONAL PRISONS
HB2673

EARLIER EMAIL HAD TWO
DIFFERENT BILL NUMBERS

CORRECT NUMBER IS: 2673

WHILE YOU RELAX AT HOME...

We need each of you to contact the Common Education Committee where HB 2673 will be heard. It could be heard as early as next week.

Tell them you support HB 2673 which allows children currently forced to attend schools which receive an "F" rating three years in a row to use their education funds to attend the school of their choice public or private.

FIDUCIARY FUNDS ARE FOR THE CHILD
NOT FOR THE GOVERNMENT
NOT FOR THE UNIONS

The money held by the state for education is a fiduciary fund held on behalf of Oklahoma citizens for the purpose of educating their children. It does not belong to the state. The state is the caretaker of these private funds provided by Oklahoma citizens on behalf of the children of Oklahoma.

The state has no authority to tell the parent what school the child must attend. The state has no authority to relegate children to a school run by the government. Those funds are subject to parental authority. They are to be used for the best interest of the child.

WHY HB2673

Next to the unborn, our inner city children, now forced into schools which are rated as "F" annually, are our most vulnerable.

WHY YOU?
WHY NOW?

This bill may be heard next week in committee.

We need you to encourage the education committee to allow those who are currently mandated to attend a chronically "F" rated government school to do what is in their own best self interest.

Lets set these children free of
government entrapment.

No one will debate you. You will simply be thanked for the call and your support will be recorded and given to the legislator.

Find the committee members here.

Be polite!

If you get a recording, leave your message.
They count the calls.

Of the 45,863 kids in F grade schools state-wide, 30,662 are in either the Oklahoma City Public School system and the Tulsa Public School system. Approximately 2/3rds of the 45,863 are Hispanic or Black. Over 2/3rd are from Economically Disadvantaged homes.

Lincoln set the slaves free in the 19th century. We need to finish what the party of Lincoln began by finishing the work now in the 21st century.

Inner-city children need to be set free from the grossly under-performing institutions we force them to attend.
