OCPAC VOTER GUIDE 2026 PRIMARY

In order to reverse the cultural descent which has scarred the face of America, it is vital that we elect representatives who stand firmly on the Word of God and who seek public office in response to a divine calling to insure that the ideals of Western Society are secure and passed to the future generations.

Christian liberty, morality, and economics are the backbone of the West and of America, the flower of the West.

God is the author of history. Nations are destined to seek him as they oversee just societies. (Isaiah 2:2,3; Micah 4:1,2). It is important to each of us as individuals and families to play our parts in this history and the destiny of nations.

STATE WIDE OFFICES

GOVERNOR

In our opinion, there are only four credible candidates for Governor who qualify as men who advocate for a government ensuring a constitutional, conservative, and Christian society. They are Chip Keating, Mike Mazzei, Charles McCall, and Jake Merrick.

A large segment of the educated members of Oklahoma's conservative, activist grass roots consider Gentner Drummond to be, in terms of his political behavior, an ideological Democrat who has conducted himself as a political leftist. He is known to many as a RINO (Republican in Name Only) or a trans-Republican. For these reasons, we have not included him in the group of Republican candidates above.

OCPAC ACTION is reticent to provide a formal endorsement for any one of these four candidates because within the “OCPAC twins” (OCPAC ACTION/OCPAC FOUNDATION) we have members and leaders involved in all four of these campaigns.

So, OCPAC ACTION is simply advising that for governor, you vote for one of these four only.

Below, we become gradually more dogmatic.

However, we have not endorsed in all races.

LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR

"JJ" or "TW"

We like both T.W. Shannon and J.J. Humphries. T.W. Shannon is the most conservative Speaker of the House Oklahoma has ever had. J.J. Humphries has also stood for conservatism in the Oklahoma House of Representatives.

ATTORNEY GENERAL

JEFF STARLING

In spite of our long relationship with Jon Echols, we are endorsing attorney Jeff Starling as the one with far more courtroom experience by virtue of his having defended agricultural producers and members of the oil and gas industry all across America. Jeff has also spent years managing the large legal network of Devon Energy, providing him the experience of managing teams of attorneys who have argued in courtrooms not only in Oklahoma but throughout the nation.

He is a devout Christian and a constitutional conservative who is running to provide Oklahoma with an Attorney General who will look out for the state's legal needs and not hold the office with larger political goals in mind.

STATE TREASURER

TODD RUSS

Todd Russ has saved the Sooner state millions of dollars through his investment experience. He has boosted our investment earnings exponentially.

More than that, he has been our wall of protection against Black Rock and their DEI initiatives.

We are endorsing Todd because of his proven performance which his banking background has made possible.

STATE SUPERINTENDENT OF EDUCATION

JAMES TAYLOR

The dismal state of the culture emanates from the university's commitment to atheism and the non-existence of truth. However, until the universities in Oklahoma are placed under the leadership of regents who understand this universal assault on the West, we must strive to remediate those lower institutions which emanate from the university.

Dr. James Taylor is one of Oklahoma's most exceptional secondary school educators. He is a Constitutional conservative who has for many years portrayed the exceptional nature of America and our founding.

He possesses both the integrity and the academic depth to lead our state's Department of Education. He believes your children belong to you and not to the state. For this reason, the decision of where your child attends school should be yours and not the state.

The reader should know that much of the difficulty in passing conservative legislation in the Senate is easily attributed to Senator Adam Pugh. (Ask any member of the Oklahoma Freedom Caucus for affirmation.) While Pugh's advertising labels him as a conservative who believes in parental rights, it is James Taylor who has for many years spoken in favor of these ideas. Until he decided to run for state Superintendent, Pugh has fought these ideas.

OKLAHOMA INSURANCE COMMISSIONER

MARTY QUINN

Marty Quinn is a devout Christian who also has a proven track record of constitutional conservatism.

OKLAHOMA LABOR COMMISSIONER

During his time in the Oklahoma Legislature, Kevin West did what few others have. He learned how to legislate conservatively. In his first year, he recorded a "Liberal" voting record. Thereafter, he was a strong conservative while retaining a relationship with House Leadership.

He finished his career with a solid conservative rating and has the endorsement of a number of conservative groups.

Lisa Janloo is also an impressive figure but without the long track record. However, she has won the support of a number of our members.

SO! We recommend a vote for one of these two and encourage voters to stay away from the others.

OKLAHOMA CORPORATION

COMMISSIONER

JUSTIN HORNBECK

Justin Hornback brings over 20 years of hands-on experience as a pipeline welder, certified welding inspector, and safety specialist in Oklahoma’s energy sector. He offers practical, real-world expertise to the Corporation Commission with a focus on transparency, consumer protection, and balanced regulation. Unlike his career-politician opponent, Justin delivers a fresh conservative perspective.
