LEGISLATIVE PANEL & TODD RUSS ON BLACKROCK
NOON OKLAHOMA HISTORY CENTER |
WADE BURLESON PLEDGES TO DONATE HIS CONGRESSIONAL SALARY TO NON-PROFIT CHARITIES IF ELECTED TO DISTRICT 3 |
OCPAC FOUNDATION IS AT THE TOP OF HIS LIST (OCPAC: ORIGINAL CONSTITUTIONAL PRICIPLES AFFECTING CULTURE)
Four years ago, Frank Lucas won 61% of the primary vote with Wade Burleson winning 31% and Stephen Butler winning 8%. Butler spent no money and did not campaign. Burleson spent $250,000 and Lucas spent $1.5 million.
This year, Burleson has pledged to spend no money.
If the Cheyenne & Arapaho have their way, it will be Burleson and not Lucas who will represent Western Oklahoma (District Three) in 2027.
Cheyenne & Arapaho Governor Reggie Wassana has been at odds with Lucas for many years. Lucas appears to cater to Eastern Oklahoma more than his own Western District. Like Governor Stitt, Lucas is a strong advocate of green energy.
Aside from his campaign's many other commitments, Burleson has pledged to direct his congressional salary to charities if elected, stating that the OCPAC Foundation* will be at the top of his list.
*For clarity, the Foundation is not a participant financially or otherwise involved with any part of this campaign or with efforts relating to any other political campaign throughout the state. |
21st CENTURY TOWER OF BABEL: THE UNIVERSITY |
Last week, the South Carolina Lieutenant Governor’s upcoming appearance to speak at the South Carolina State University’s May 8 commencement ceremony was cancelled. |
The South Carolina Gaily Gazette reported:
Student Government Association President Zaria Tucker, in a Facebook post, called for someone who reflects “the voices, values, and lived experiences of the students it celebrates. |
The Gazette also reported that even some members of the South Carolina Legislature consider the Woke tenants of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) appropriate if you happen to be black. The Gazette wrote:
Legislators said some of Evette’s political stances, such as her calls to end diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives on public college campuses, flew in the face of the values of a historically Black university.
According to the Gazette:
Students walked around campus Tuesday chanting, “Pamela Evette has got to go.” Their complaints, as heard in a video she re-posted on X, included that she’s a “Trump conservative,” “doesn’t support DEI” and is “anti-abortion.” |
Lt. Governor Pamela Evette has publicly clarified that all of that is true!
In January of this year, a Nebraska Democratic State Sen. Machaela Cavanaugh removed the portraits of America’s Founders from a display in the Nebraska Capitol. The display, celebrating the nation’s 250th year, was recovered and displayed again. |
She is the same legislator who, two years ago, delivered a two-minute psychotic rant on the floor of the Senate expressing her affirmation of the transgender movement. Most viewers found her emotional plea to be an embarrassment to the state of Nebraska. To appreciate the deranged state of this Senator, listen beyond the halfway point here.
These two stories were written upon American soil this year. I mention them to indicate the destructive consequences to our families, communities, and nation when universities are allowed to promote the revolutionary ideas which foster the rejection of the revealed truth of which our founders so frequently spoke and upon which they cast their lives and their fortunes.
Nebraska Senator Machaela Cavanaigh received her undergraduate degree from the University of St. Thomas. It is a university which promotes DEI and the Woke ideology of anti-racism. She went on to receive a graduate degree from the University of Nebraska.
Like the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, and other Oklahoma Universities, the University of Nebraska caters to DEI, transgenderism, and other Woke myth.
All of this has created a nation-wide crisis in America's cultural identity thanks to the Chinese Communist Party and other insurgents who today continue the revolution rooted in Columbia University’s Frankfort Society. |
The Tower of Babel was a project designed by men intent on crafting the ascent of mankind independent of God with a view of a future unlike anything hitherto described by divine revelation.
Until one of the American states finds a Governor who will appoint university regents with the intellectual curiosity, theological bent, philosophical capacities required to assess the inner workings of the university, the very same diabolical Tower of Babel will stand firm and cast its shadow on every square inch of American soil.
Needed are the intellectually inclined Christians possessing unflinching loyalty to divine truth. Men and women with temperaments of steel willing to replace university presidents with men like former University President, Dr. Everett Piper (see his article below).
Without a governor somewhere in America with a vision to restore the pathway of Western Civilization, the nation will continue to wander. Babel has produced cultural confusion. In the political arena, the impact has been diabolical. |
Unless we reclaim the university, we will continue to see our secondary schools engulfed with the death of morality, civic intelligibility, and the dearth of patriotism.
The pathway of Babel (the university) has been a path of the diabolic thanatotic sterile barrenness of a nation. Babel has no divine authority. Babel seeks to write history on man’s terms and not God’s.
Man was created from the dust of the earth and infused with the breath and image of God. We are materiality combined with the eternally transcendent image of God. For this reason, the university was founded 1,000 years ago and was built on the idea of man's progress in the service of God.
That first university, The University of Bologna (1088), was immersed in Christian thought. The same can be said for Harvard, Yale, and all of America’s early universities. |
None of these Christian ideals can be said to remain in Oklahoma’s state universities today. Babel owns Oklahoma's universities. Babel owns the American university, and the American university owns our secondary schools, our political class, and, regretfully, our pulpits.
Only a Governor can change that. Until a Governor can be found in one of our fifty states, the nation will continue to simmer in a pot of pagan ideology with only darkness before us. _______________
Make plans to attend our Spring finale which features our four front-running Republican candidates on Wednesday, May 27 at noon in the Oklahoma History Center. |
We also meet on May 13 for a legislative panel to discuss what just happened in the 2026 legislature. |
DR EVERETT PIPER Sunday, May 3, 2026
TUCKER CARLSON SHOULD LOOK IN THE MIRROR BEFORE CALLING THE CHURCH A MESS |
In his ongoing campaign against American conservatives, Tucker Carlson has repeatedly shown that he doesn’t understand Christianity or the Bible. The most recent example of his ignorance comes from a recent podcast where he said:
One of the reasons that I have a lot of trouble going to church is [because] all these Christian leaders are so flawed… |
Frankly, the suggestion that the Church is not worthy of him because it includes people who are sinful should leave anyone with even a Sunday school understanding of Christianity slack-jawed. Christian leaders throughout history have written about the imperfection of the Church. Tucker Carlson would do well to read what they’ve said. J.R.R. Tolkien refused to abandon faith over flawed Christians. He understood that the Church is about belief in Christ, not the failings of priests or parishioners. “I should not leave the Church [because of flawed people],” he wrote. “I should leave because I did not believe… even if I had never met anyone in orders who was not both wise and saintly.” |
Charles Spurgeon argued that hypocrisy validates the Church rather than the other way around. “There could be no hypocrites if there were no genuine [Christianity],” he said. “No one would try to forge banknotes if there were no genuine ones.” G.K. Chesterton commented extensively on this issue of hypocrisy in the Church. In The Everlasting Man, he said, “The Church is justified, not because her children do not sin, but because they do.” He then noted Christianity gets rejected not because it’s false, but because it’s hard: “The Christian ideal has not been tried and found wanting. It has been found difficult and left untried.” Chesterton admonished that rather than flee hypocrites, we should try to see our brother’s faith beneath his flaws: “We ought to see far enough into a hypocrite to see even his sincerity.” C.S. Lewis viewed church attendance as essential for his spiritual growth, even amid his hypocrisy and that of others. He likened the Church to a “hospital for sinners rather than a museum for saints.” He said he went to church because Scripture commanded it and grace flowed through its imperfect gatherings. |
Lewis emphasized that the Church was not for the perfect people but for the imperfect; flawed pilgrims pressing toward Christ:
True Christians… stagger forward on the road to becoming like Him, picking up many scrapes and bruises on the way . . . They aren’t perfect, but their Master is.
For Lewis, hypocrisy didn’t disqualify the Church; it proved it was real. Jesus came for sinners, not for saints. He even suggested that criticizing the Church over other people’s sins was demonic. In his seminal work, The Screwtape Letters, he portrayed the Master Deceiver as saying, “Let [the Christian] judge his mother [i.e., the Church],” arguing that such pride masquerades as discernment when it is actually little more than self-satisfaction and, thereby, proof of one’s own sin. A.W. Tozer dismissed using other people’s sins as an excuse for condemning the Church and suggested we would all do well to look in the mirror rather than the pews.
Hypocrites in the church? Yes, and in the lodge, and at home. Don’t hunt through the church for a hypocrite. Go home and look in the mirror. |
Chuck Colson believed that because we all need redemption, we must support the Church rather than abandon it. The Church exists for sinners needing forgiveness.
He understood that accusations of hypocrisy assume a moral standard of which we all fall short. He wrote:
The next time someone says, ‘I don’t go to church because the church is full of hypocrites,’ remember that hypocrisy requires a moral standard. that is very poorly defined without the Church. |
Finally, Colson concluded that the Church is essential precisely because we are all flawed.
None of us is thoroughly good… Christianity doesn’t depend on someone else’s behavior: Whether or not Christianity is true does not rise and fall on the subjective experiences of human beings.
In other words, he was saying that the Church teaches truth, embraces grace, and fosters growth despite its members’ flaws. I could go on and on and on but here’s the take-home: If you really want to understand the Church, the best thing to do is to stop looking at everyone else and start looking at Christ. I don’t know about you, but I go to church because I’m the one who’s flawed and I need Jesus. |
