Walters Testifies to Legislature

THE WAGES OF ATHEISM

This afternoon, Ryan Walters will answer questions before members of the Oklahoma legislature. The questions will center on the immorality present in our public schools. The immorality in our schools is a symptom of the atheism which represents the reigning assumption of our science classes in particular.

Charles Darwin wrote in his autobiography, “A man who has no belief in the existence of a personal God or a future existence with retribution and rewards, can follow those impulses and instincts which are the strongest or which seem to him the best ones.”

Because of his Nobel Prize in literature, most think of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn as a writer and Russian dissident. However, his degrees were in mathematics and physics. He stated that “If Western man continues to aim his metaphysical and epistemological blows at the revelation of God in His word and in His works, Western Civilization will eventually stagnate and die just like the cultures of antiquity.

Yale President Timothy Dwight, described the social impact of Voltaire’s atheism:

About the year 1728, Voltaire, so celebrated for his wit and brilliancy and not less distinguished for his hatred of Christianity ... formed a systematical design to destroy Christianity and to introduce in its place a general promotion of atheism ... Chastity and heterosexuality were declared to be nothing more than groundless prejudices.

Voltaire’s ideas are being taught to our

children through our schools today.

The secular slant which defines public education today is especially prominent in the sciences. Something the forefathers of modern science would not have condoned.

Men like Kepler, Euler, and Einstein, would object that our schools today teach a science devoid of reference to the divine architect of the cosmos they seek to understand.

Euler was a devout Christian who taught

his children and grandchildren

the Bible every evening.

Einstein stated:

I'm absolutely not an atheist ... We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written.

The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God.

We see the universe marvelously arranged and obeying certain laws but only dimly understand these laws.

I am enthralled by the luminous figure of the Nazarene. No one can read the Gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus. His personality pulsates in every word. No myth is filled with such life.

The metaphysics of transcendence articulated by those to whom we owe modern science is no longer provided to our children who attend public schools.

The current foundation in atheism and the antagonism to Christianity is in opposition to our American foundations. Our schools are at war with the ideals of our founding fathers as well as the ideals of those to whom we owe modern science.

This war is destroying

our national identity and

placing our future at risk.

Austria’s Wilhelm Reich’s battle plan to promote immorality is contained in his book, The Sexual Revolution. In it, he makes clear that the path to the revolution’s utopia requires that Christianity be erased from the earth so that every repression is removed and unlimited sexual freedom becomes the cultural norm. Precisely what is taught in our schools today. It is the reduced vision of mankind as simply a bundle of physical needs.

No society can survive with a Reichian identity untethered from the divine origin of our very being. Our loss of a national identity is a product of the emaciated view of mankind as seen through the lens of materialism.

Noah Webster wrote:

In my view, the Christian religion is the most important and one of the first things in which all children, under a free government ought to be instructed ...

No truth is more evident to my mind than that the Christian religion must be the basis of any government intended to secure the rights and privileges of a free people.

The Christian religion, in its purity, is the basis or rather the source of all genuine freedom in government ... I am persuaded that no civil government of a republican form can exist and be durable, in which the principles of that religion have not a controlling influence.

Those of you who were at the monthly State Department of Education (SDE) meeting heard Ryan Walters describe the influence of cultural Marxism in our schools and his department’s new call to investigate the extent to which our school districts have implemented programs titled “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” (DEI).

He pointed out that DEI is actually

indoctrination which causes

exclusion, and division.

In the state legislature, the school choice Superintendent Walters and the people of Oklahoma are calling for, is at risk of faltering. Solutions are currently impaired by the territorial egos of each house. Those egos will have to be quickly nurtured into mature leadership if Oklahoma is to have a robust future.

Without school choice, government will continue to be the majority voice in the training of the next generation of Oklahoma's voters. That represents tyranny and is nothing close to government by the people, of the people, and for the people.

Ryan Walters will be discussing the state into which our schools have fallen this afternoon at 2:30. He will be in the state capitol this afternoon to take questions from a House Legislative Committee in Room 450.

You are encouraged to join us there.
