Published Monday, October 3, 2022 | | WE ARE MEETING This Wednesday at NOON Central Oklahoma Home Builders NO ENTRY FEE | | CANCER DOCTOR DEFINES WOKE AND ITS IMPACT IN MEDICINE AND ACADEMIA
Writing perhaps the most important book thus far in the 21st century, Dr. Carl Trueman found his motivation in Dr. Reynold's topic. He simply wondered why it is regarded as both coherent and meaningful for a man to say, “I am a woman trapped in a man’s body.” The book is The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self.
This Wednesday, Dr. Robert Reynolds, a leading candidate this past spring for the O.U. Board of Regents, will seek to clarify what critical theory means and how it impacts medicine and academia.
Dr. Reynolds has presented to the O.U. Regents in private sessions and comes highly motivated to spread the message. His presentation includes video ranging from an attempted interview with an insecure and annoyed university professor to a congressional hearing challenging the policies of academic stake-holders who insist we think like them.
Is the idea of truth a transphobic word used only by the arrogant and condescending? You'll hear from one "academic" who says it is!
Rob wants to change Oklahoma’s educational posture and states unequivocally that we can get it done. He knows we must get it done, as Western Civilization represents a system of freedom and prosperity being attacked by WOKE change agents. And the international history of WOKE politics is oppression and poverty.
I will have a few more things to say on the importance of Dr. Reynold's presentation in my article below. | | WEDNESDAY LUNCH Central Oklahoma Home Builders | | 11:00 AM Doors open 11:30 AM Lunch NOON to 1:15 PM Meeting

BOB LINN Avoiding a Great Purge in America
WADE BURLESON Growing the Foundation
NOTES FROM SPECIAL SESSION Jim Olsen on Children's Hospital & Gender Mutilation | BOB LINN Avoiding a Great Purge in America | Prominent American writer, Max Eastman, resided in the Soviet Union during Stalin’s Great Purge.
What he saw being done to the Russian people made him reject his former love of Stalin and communism.
In 1955, he wrote Reflections on the Failure of Socialism and included this famous statement by Stalin’s predecessor, Vladimir Lenin:
“We must be ready to employ trickery, deceit, law-breaking, withholding and concealing truth. We can and must write in a language which sows among the masses hate, revulsion, and scorn toward those who disagree with us.”
If you don't care to order Eastman's book, find the quote here.
As you listen to Dr. Reynolds this Wednesday, keep in mind the moral codes of those who are promoting Critical Race Theory around the world and in our Oklahoma classrooms. | | Max Eastman continues to point out the immorality of the Marxist movement when he writes:
Lenin had grown up under the influence of the terrorist wing of the Russian revolutionary movement. Lenin was an ardent admirer of Sergey Nechayev, a rabid zealot of the 1870’s who drew up a famous document called Catechism of a Revolutionist.
Nechayev wrote, ‘The revolutionist … hates and despises the social morality of his time. Everything which promotes the success of the revolution is moral, everything which hinders it is immoral.’
Eastman continued ... Lenin startled his early friends by defending this madman and honoring his memory. Thus before he became a Marxist, Lenin had arrived by an emotional road at that rejection of moral standards which Marx deduced from a pretended science of history. The confluence of these two streams of thought is one of the greatest disasters that ever befell mankind.
We have an enemy who will stop at nothing to do to America what was done to the Russians, the Chinese, the Cubans, and on and on. It is what makes this Wednesday’s topic so important. | | We must keep in mind that Christ is the true sovereign and limits the pathways of evil. The world saw a bright light and rising star in Italy last week with the victory of Giorgia Meloni.
While Italy’s Giorgia Meloni does not hit all the markers of classic Christian ideology, her policies and her political victory reveal that the world-wide influence of Christianity remains strong. | SOME HAVE CALLED HER THE ITALIAN TRUMP!
Her bold and strident speech earlier this year demonstrates that the battles we fight in Oklahoma are being fought around the world. She said this:
Yes to the natural family, no to the LGBT lobby, yes to sexual identity, no to gender ideology... no to Islamist violence, yes to secure borders, no to mass migration... no to big international finance... no to the bureaucrats of Brussels! | At a the 13th World Congress of Families, held to promote conservative Christian values, she said:
I reject a society where every desire becomes a right, every whim becomes a right, where I have no responsibilities, I have only rights. I reject it. It's wrong …
The embarrassing ones are those who support practices like 'Womb for rent,' abortion at nine months, and blocking the development of children with drugs at 11 years of age. That is embarrassing.
She is now poised to become Italy’s prime minister. Italy is the third-largest economy in Europe and the win is sending shockwaves to the European Union. | Steve Bannon, said this about Giorgia Meloni’s political win last week:
A leader of enormous vitality and grit — abandoned by her father she forged through a brutal Italian political jungle to now lead her country as first female Prime Minister. | Steve Bannon is the Oklahoma County GOP February 2023 banquet speaker, by the way!
There will be an announcement at our luncheon this Wednesday. | Rod Dreher said: “They hate Meloni because she takes a hard line on out-of-control immigration, and because she believes in defending the traditional family (which entails rejecting transgender ideology). Ergo, ‘FASCIST!’,” Dreher wrote for The American Conservative. | Ted Cruz called “spectacular” Meloni’s speech which included the line:
We will defend God, country, and family. ~Giorgia Meloni
All the battles we fight at the city, county, and state level are important not just for Oklahomans but for our sister states and for the nations abroad who look to America as the bastion of freedom and whose Christian foundations continue to offer the promise of hope for the world! | We are in desperate need of returning our nation and our state to Biblical foundations.
Thank you for your activism. _________ | I'll see you this Wednesday's luncheon!

God bless! | OPCAC FOUNDATION Members,
Your board continues to work hard on behalf of OCPAC Foundation.
We have completed the separation of OCPAC Foundation and OCPAC Action.
OPCAC Foundation (our educational and policy arm of OCPAC including our Wednesday meetings) is led by Executive Director Bob Linn.
We have a goal of raising $300,000 before January 1, 2023, to get OCPAC Foundation off on the right foot as we seek to educate Oklahomans on the necessity of maintaining conservative Constitutional and Christian principles in education, politics, society, and the economy.
Thank you for your support! Make your checks payable to OCPAC Foundation.
All donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE, and there is no limit to the amount. OCPAC Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. | LEGISLATURE APPROVES $39.4 MILLION TO O.U. CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL | READ SB3 HERE
The vote to allot $39.4 Million of ARPA money to the O.U. Children's Hospital came with a ban on gender-altering mutilation surgeries.
While this bill represented a fabulous victory for children's health, there were a number of legislators who wanted even more. You will note that there are solid conservatives on both sides of the vote. See house vote here and Senate vote here.
One legislator indicated last weekend that O.U. Children's Hospital has acquiesced without a whimper. Legislative leadership have indicated they will look to do more in full session next spring which we hope will eliminate all of these abusive surgeries in Oklahoma. | Conversations with Regents early in the week were encouraging and there seemed to be a groundswell of support from grassroots to top leadership both at O.U. and the Legislature that these surgeries are shocking, inhumane, and brutal.
REPRESENTATIVE JIM OLSEN: SB3 IS A GREAT VICTORY | | FROM REPRESENTATIVE JIM OLSEN:
On Thursday, with the passage of SB 3, we made great progress in prohibiting "transgender" hormone treatments and surgeries.
These are more accurately called mutilations.
The goal of Christian conservatives is to make these treatments entirely illegal across the state.
Senate Bill 3 essentially makes it illegal for OU Children's Hospital to continue their present transgender program. Shutting down this program at OU, essentially shuts down about 85 – 90% of these mutilations that are taking place in the state.
The governor needs to sign this bill, and it seems very likely that he will.
The goal at this point is to complete the work by introducing legislation to make it completely illegal all over the state. The chances of success on this in the next session are stronger now than they have ever been.
I am very thankful for this great victory. | Watch Jim Olson's debate on the floor of the House of Representatives here. | THE PERSPECTIVE OF THOSE WHO WANTED TO WITHOLD THE FUNDING FROM O.U. CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL | Jim Olsen was one of a number of our conservative Christian caucus who voted "yes" on SB3. Our caucus was divided on the issue. The legislators who voted "no" on SB3 had well thought-through reasons which were represented on the floor of the Legislature.
While there is room for rejoicing on one level, there was concern about giving O.U. Children's Hospital any of this federal funding for reasons that were well argued on the Senate floor.
Those who voted "no" argued that any institution that would advocate hormone blockers, chemical castration and irreversible surgeries maiming and mutilating children should not receive a single dime of taxpayer money. On that point, I think we all agree!
Obviously, we have a long way to go, but you will hear the position of those Christian conservatives who voted "no" by watching this slice of Thursday's debate on the Senate floor. Watch the Senate debate here. | | OCPAC FOUNDATION is a 501 (c) (3). Gifts are tax-deductible.
