Published Monday, July 18, 2022 | | NO MEETING THIS WEDNESDAY | | BOB LINN Bright Lights in Hollywood | | When models and Hollywood actors begin to articulate the Christian values which alone can right the ship of American education and breathe life back into our cultural landscape, we must know that the Spirit of God is moving in our land.
It is a sure sign of hope of the restoration of an America we have lost to the secularism of our institutions.
This past weekend, OCPAC board member, Jess Allen, sent me a link which provided just such a glimpse into the work of God.
The Sorbo family has been placed in what has over the past 50 years come to represent those things designed to reduce a society to cultural (spiritual, moral, and economic) rubble. | | Actor Kevin Sorbo and his wife, Sandra Lynn (“Sam”), take child-rearing and education very seriously. They also know more than a modicum about politics and the cultural forces which are driving the American classroom and the way we are marking our ballots.
The couple were at last week’s Freedom Fest which ended this past Saturday. I took a few moments this weekend to listen to Beau Davidson, ask model and actress, Sam Sorbo, about education in America. What I heard her say was quite a refreshing surprise.
Watch the 20-minute interview here. | | The Biblical perspectives from the Sorbo family are in stark contrast to the vile nature of what went on in Chicago at the National Education Association (NEA), the nation’s largest labor union, the week before. | | More than 6,000 of its 3.5 million NEA members met at Chicago’s downtown McCormick Convention center to decide that in America’s schools, the terms “fathers” and “mothers” will be replaced with “birthing” and “non-birthing” parent. | | NEA President, Becky Pringle, opened her comments quoting a woman she deeply admires, former Communist Party member and terrorist Angela Davis.
Although Angela Davis was once on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list, Pringle spoke highly of her and called her “Professor Davis."
NEA PRESIDENT CONDEMNS SUPREME COURT REVERSAL OF ROE v WADE | | Pringle went on to condemn the recent Supreme Court decisions which returned the right to pray to coach Joe Kennedy, returned abortion policy to the states, and assured parents not legislatures controlled the flow of education dollars (Carson v Makin).
She spoke of her support of the LGBTQ movement, vowed that our public schools will employ the monikers “gay” and “trans,” and vowed to employ the resources of the NEA to fight against the 2nd amendment. Read her speech here. | | When, in 1949, George Orwell published his acclaimed novel, 1984, he understood the importance control of a nation’s education system was to “Big Brother.”
Orwell spoke of the preeminent and fundamental need for the dumbing down of the inhabitants of Oceana. Big Brother and The Party understood that an educated population was a dangerous threat to the power and control of the state. | | The book's characters observe:
The whole literature of the past will have been destroyed. Chaucer, Shakespeare, Milton, Byron – they’ll exist only in Newspeak versions, not merely changed into something different, but actually changed into something contradictory of what they used to be.
The book speaks of rubbishly produced newspapers “containing almost nothing except sport, crime, and astrology, sensational five-cent novelettes, films oozing with sex …”
One of Oceana’s monikers, a slogan which appears on the front of the Ministry of Truth is the phrase: | | Oklahoma’s School Boards 4 Kids chairman, Reed Downey is compiling the academic achievement scores of our Oklahoma schools to awaken our parents to the need for them to step between their children and the NEA, the OEA, and the Superintendents.
The data presents the triumph of the Orwellian warning flare launched more than 70 years ago. | | When I think about the decay of our American institutions, I think of the state of our schools. For the cover-up of numerous incidents of sexual (homosexual) assault over a period of many years alleged by students and parents, there is a call for a grand jury investigation of the Shawnee School System’s board of education, administration, and superintendent.
The call casts a particularly foreboding threat to the state. The superintendent of Shawnee schools is April Grace, now a Republican candidate for state superintendent.
THE NEA HAS SPENT $1 MILLION TO SEE APRIL GRACE NOT RYAN WALTERS IS OKLAHOMA'S NEXT SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS. | | The afore-mentioned $1 Million the NEA has spent to stop the election of Ryan Walters is unprecedented and represents the largest amount of money the un-American teacher union is spending anywhere in America.
The election of Ryan Walters, Oklahoma’s leading advocate for parental choice in education and the most outspoken opponent of the LGBTQ/Critical Race agenda, is of highest importance to Oklahoma's future. | | To keep 1984 a novel and not a political reality, we’ll need to work to elect Ryan Walters as Oklahoma's next state superintendent.
We are in desperate need of returning to our foundations.
See the important notice below regarding the July 19 8:30 AM City Council meeting.
God bless you for your activism.
Communist dictator Vladimir Lenin once said, “Give me four years to teach the children, and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.” Communist Goal #17 simply states:
Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for Socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teacher’s associations. Put the party line in textbooks. | | NO MEETING THIS WEDNESDAY | | Table of Contents

| AMERICANS for PROSPERITY wants to pay you to help Ryan Walters | The most important runoff race in Oklahoma is the race for our children's future. It is between the despicable goals of the NEA and the most bold advocate for parental authority and the traditional moral values that built Western Civilization and American greatness.
AFP will pay you $18 per hour to knock Republican doors for Ryan Walters. | As Governor Stitt's Secretary of Education, Ryan Walters has boldly stood for parental choice legislation in the legislature and stood against the teaching of Critical Race Theory and Diversity Equity Inclusion in our classrooms.
The future of Oklahoma needs Ryan Walters to pave the way for our children's educational future.
| OKC CITY COUNCIL Human Rights Commission by Robert Hefner | MEETING JULY 19th
An organization called OKC4HR is pushing the City Council to create a Human Rights Commission as well as the OKC Pride Alliance. OKC4HR was birthed out of the political chaos surrounding George Floyd. Watch James Cooper talk about the Human Rights Commission at a City Council meeting here. I need as many of you as possible to join me on: Tuesday, July 19th. 8:30 A.M. City Council Chambers 200 N. Walker Ave. OKC, OK 73102 3rd Floor Find more information about their plans: | PROTESTING GOVERNMENT-MANDATED EMISSION REDUCTIONS | The Dutch ruling coalition intends to force 30% of Dutch farmers out of business. Bonfires, hay bales and tractors are being used to block roads and key points of the Dutch infrastructure to fight back against this government tyranny.
These protests have been going on for weeks now and involves more than 40,000 farmers. Police fired on a number of these farmers including one unarmed 16-year-old boy as he drove a tractor in an effort to leave the demonstration area. (That officer has since gone into hiding.)
Dutch fishermen have joined the efforts by blockading ports.
This farmer revolt against elements of the "great reset" envisioned by Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum (WEC) has now spread to Germany, Poland, and Italy.
