TEXT "join" to (405) 351-1156 | BOB LINN The Foundations are Crumbling | Last Wednesday, Senator Shane Jett held a press conference to address the long history of immorality and sexual perversion students enrolled in the Shawnee Public Schools have faced when on school property.
It is inconceivable that the press conference was needed. In a civilized society, the moral erosion would have been handled by the administration with the strong support of the school board and the school superintendent.
Testimony from Shawnee’s students, parents, and teachers indicated that Shawnee superintendent, April Grace, made it difficult to clean up the school's culture. It took years to finally arrest and charge teacher and coach Ron Arthur with rape, sodomy, and soliciting sexual contact.
Solutions begin in the House of God. It is past time for our pulpits to speak with clarity about the mission of those who fill America's pews.
We have experienced, since the War for Independence, a very gradual secularization of American society. Our 17th and 18th century founders saw government and culture as standing in the fertile soils of Christianity.
A recent communique from Dr. Bill Federer remembered this from Thomas Jefferson, the author of our Declaration of Independence, and the third President of the United States:
Whereas Congress has thought to recommend to the several States to humbly approach the throne of Almighty God: He has been a shield to our troops in the hour of danger, pointed their swords to victory, and above all, he has diffused the glorious light of the Gospel, whereby, through the merits of our gracious Redeemer, we may become the heirs of his eternal glory.

Asking that he would grant to His church, the plentiful effusions of divine grace, and pour out his Holy Spirit on all Ministers of the Gospel; that he would bless and prosper the means of education, and spread the light of Christian knowledge through the remotest corners of the earth, and finally, that he would establish the independence of these United States upon the basis of religion and virtue. | Our family history so clearly points out Jefferson’s wisdom in the record we have of our first parents. When Adam & Eve chose an epistemology which rested on the mind of man rather that the mind of God, murder, darkness, and chaos ensued.
Last week, the President of the United States, with affirmation of the United States Senate appointed to the nations highest court an individual who advocates the reality of a multitude of sexual identities, light treatment of child sex offenders, the elimination of sex offender registries, the murder of babies, and the political sedition inherent in Cultural Marxism.
We are in desperate need of returning to our foundations.

The Shawnee School System has a history of accommodating sexual abuse. Superintendent April Grace and the Shawnee Board of Education have much to answer for.
They will have more opportunities to do just that as Senator Jett has called for the Attorney General to initiate a Grand Jury investigation.
This news and subsequent investigation should damage any hopes April Grace has in gathering public support to place her in charge of every school system in the state!
The damage that the sexual abuse which has taken place on Ms. Grace's watch has been catastrophic. Lives have been destroyed by former teacher and coach, Ron Arthur, and the freedom he was given to sexually groom and sexually molest Shawnee youth.
