Charles Hill is making quite a splash in Oklahoma, having initiated and chaired many strategic collaboratives. His projects have met with enthusiastic responses from large numbers of Oklahomans including leaders from the corporate community.
Flourish OKC drew 1,200 one evening to celebrate the leaders and organizations who joined with him in one of his strategic community projects.
Mr. Hill is working in tandem with Hobby Lobby and other major corporate entities to develop a grass roots effort to restore the culture of Oklahoma.
His monthly meetings with Marc Nuttle (Marc is on his board of directors) provides some indication of his success. He is the recipient of Oklahoma City's Clapham Award for exemplary leadership in transforming culture. | | Clarence Hill is the kind of leader OCPAC can partner with as we seek to influence the legislative and cultural life of Oklahoma.
Get to know him this Wednesday! ___________________ | | FIRST UP TO GET US STARTED... | | SPEAKING TO US ABOUT VIRGINIA THREAT By Phone... Book Recommendations | | Culture's Crumbling Infrastructure The Erosion of America's Epistemology by Bob Linn | This Wednesday, both of our speakers will address issues which have developed out of a society attempting to operate in an epistemological vacuum. Epistemology studies the foundation of knowledge and asks “how do I know something is true?”
The epistemological foundation of Western Culture rested on the Christian’s ultimate presupposition that Scripture is the Word of God. And, its closely related corollary, Jesus is Lord. This was also the intellectual framework which carried our Puritan forefathers to the shores of North America. | Severing America’s culture from its Christian roots has taken place through more than 100 years of forced secular government schools. It has produced intellectual chaos and the pathways to destruction. The American pulpit and our Christian universities have jettisoned their task of intellectual reconstruction. The culture at large remains unguarded from the onslaught of unabated darkness.
Our educational institutions provide our youth with a degraded academic dogma. The ridiculous has become the norm. We have jettisoned the foundation of reason (Scripture), and have placed mankind, with only his groundless reason, in charge. Wednesday’s speakers are engaged in a fight to reverse the cultural erosion created by secularism and its epistemological vacuum.
| We have followed the foolishness of Europe. | Marcello Pera, Italian philosopher and former president of the Italian Senate, also wrestles against secularism. He states:
The intellectual and political elites of the West take for granted that religion, in particular Christianity, is a cultural vestige, a primitive form of knowledge, a consolation for the weak minded, and an obstacle to peaceful coexistence. We are told that politics must take a neutral stance on religious values, and that societies must hold together without any reference to religious bonds. Liberalism is considered to be "free-standing" and the Western, liberal, open, society is taken to be ‘self-sufficient.
Pera considers all this not just wrong but dangerous to us all. He says civilized societies are built on Christian ideas. The removal of these ideas [from the American classroom, for example] will result in the collapse of civilization. Without Christianity, he says, the West is left without a conscience.
He addressed the issue twelve years ago in his book, Why We Should Call Ourselves Christians: The Religious Roots of Free Societies. He states further:
There are serious problems regarding the destiny of Christianity and of our civilization – all of us must take these problems to heart. When our house catches on fire, we all ought to pitch in to help extinguish the flames. ~Marcello Pera Why We Should Call Ourselves Christians, P 11 | English philosopher and writer, Roger Scruton, died last week. His life was dedicated to these Christian concepts. He had fully endorsed Pera’s book. He said:
Marcello Pera’s timely book goes to the heart of the malaise infecting Europe today-the malaise of a civilization built upon Christian values and Christian understandings, which no longer identifies itself clearly as Christian, and whose political class imagines that the secular philosophy of human rights is both an adequate replacement for the Christian faith and without the need of a religious foundation.
As Pera argues, the ideology of human rights without the Christian heritage falls into disarray and contradiction, and the society of Europe, when it ceases to call itself Christian, ceases to be a genuine society. ~ Roger Scruton (Feb 27, 1944-January 12, 2020) Visiting Professor, University of St. Andrews Visiting Scholar, American Enterprise Institute | The cultural decay Wednesday’s speakers are working to remediate is a current reality in all 50 U.S. States.
Clarence Hill, pastor of Antioch Church in Norman, Oklahoma, is imitating the lives of our founding fathers (pastors) by assuming responsibility to engage in the cultural malaise our secular institutions (and, I might add, too many secular pulpits) have produced. With the help of Marc Nuttle, Hobby Lobby, and many others, he is active in attempting to restore Oklahoma culture. And, he is making a difference.
You all know Don Spencer’s work to retain our second amendment and the recent Constitutional Carry legislation signed by Governor Stitt. He will join us by phone as our meeting begins to tell us how leftist tyrants are taking advantage of the lethargy of the American church.
Come early and enjoy the buffet and relaxing conversation.
More important, meet a pastor who just might be the source of energy and inspiration for the next generation of leaders in OCPAC and our state and city governments. | Lynda Steele Raised Without A Father Advocating for Legislative Reform
| Lynda Steele hit it out of the park last Wednesday! If you missed her presentation, watch it here!
Her energy and preparation revealed what to most of us was shocking. She revealed bureaucratic rules which are devastating Oklahoma families. She is on a path to transform the broken areas of Oklahoma law currently working to degrade this important element of our cultural fabric. Lets get behind her!

| | Thousands of 2A Supporters Storm Virginia Capitol | | The radical left is trying to change the way we elect a president. Now, they are aggressively going after the constitution itself, beginning with our guns!
Retired Chief of Police of Enfield, Ct., Patrick Droney wrote in Law Enforcement Today...
The fight for gun rights in Virginia is only just beginning, but gun owners in the state made it very clear to Virginia legislators that they will not stand for their radical agenda.
On Monday, thousands of NRA members showed up at the Virginia legislature to send a message loud and clear—hands off our guns.
The NRA sent a call out to its members to go to the Virginia capitol to show legislators that any attempt to either restrict or confiscate their guns was not going to go smoothly. | | OVERFLOW CROWD IN AMHURST Call for Second Amendment Sanctuary Resolution | | More than 300 Support 2A Sanctuary Amhurst County, Virginia | | The room was packed to overflowing. Virginia's Founding Fathers were quoted. Pastor Jeff Wade, assistant pastor at Madison Heights Baptist, said:
“I’m mighty afraid that we’re going to have to defend ourselves because of what we believe in. Not only on the Second Amendment, but on any other issue that the government declares to be right, but God declares to be wrong.” | | Seven other Virginia counties have passed gun sanctuary resolutions. Philip Van Cleave, President of the Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL) predicts a tsunami of gun sanctuary resolutions all across America.
| | "You're not required to obey an unconstitutional law." ~Philip Van Cleave President, Virginia Citizens Defense League | | These anti-gun tyrannies are being promoted by the radical left all across America. They have their eyes on Oklahoma as well. We must be vigilant!
Don Spencer will comment on these turbulent events to get our meeting started at noon this Wednesday. | | The OCPAC compact with City Elders.
