As you will find at the very bottom of this newsletter, the OSDH has been unable to hide its fiscal mismanagement from the past ten years.
However, most of us find it difficult to imagine the bizarre behavior of the department we saw last week. They are suggesting that we don't identify our children by their God-ordained sex.
Instead, leadership of Oklahoma's Department of Health are promoting "non-binary" birth certificates. The Oklahoma Department of Health has determined some babies have no connection to any gender and some have multiple genders.
Senator Bergstrom has a bill he plans to run in Special Session to put a stop to this ungodly insanity and rebellion against the divinely ordered creation. | | ________________

SERVICES | | Sharon had been in the hospital the past few weeks, but did not want anyone to know. She went to be with the Lord last Wednesday. She was an OCPAC fan and I imagine she wanted to commemorate OCPAC with her passing.
She served Charles Key in the Oklahoma House before becoming the Executive Assistant to Nathan Dahm in the Oklahoma Senate.
She was the bright light of Christ in the Oklahoma Legislature and kept us informed as to what was going on in our state capitol.

Sign up to get your own copy here. | BOB LINN Educational Fragmentation | Late this past Friday, an apology was issued by the National School Boards Association for their having asked the White House to clamp down on parents participating in school board meetings across the nation.
The move indicates that the light in America has not been fully extinguished. Perhaps a tsunami of patriotic fervor has been brought to a boil.
As more and more Americans become willing to let their light shine, hope for a national cultural recovery appears not so distant as it did in 2020. I hope for the restoration of the America’s church and her educational institutions.
Mathematician and test analyst for Naval cruise missiles, James Nickel, spoke of the collapse of our educational foundations thirty years ago in his book, Mathematics: Is God Silent? | He points out that the university was a product of the late 12th century. Each subject of study was united seamlessly to the others by the all-encompassing worldview of Christianity. Theology was considered foundational to all learning and, hence, the queen of the sciences.
In contrast, today’s “universities” have been pummeled by a pluralism and a fragmentation that has demolished this underlying unity of the university.
Today’s schools are disorganized smorgasbords of subject matter and there is no effort to relate the individual parts to the whole. They are multiversities and not universities. The unity of the Biblical God and His revelation is no longer the foundation which unites the diversity of academic disciplines. | Rousas John Rushdoony addressed the issue sixty years ago in his book Intellectual Schizophrenia. He said, “Man’s originalism produced epistemological and metaphysical pluralism.”
That originalism he spoke about began with our first parents, Adam and Eve. They chose to decide between the ultimacy of the mind of God and the imagined ultimacy of the mind of man.
Having selected the latter, they passed on to us their self-established autonomy. The individual is left to craft from scratch his own identity. Using his own imagination and also borrowing from the imaginations of many other fellow travelers.
The result has been a human history defined by Rushdoony’s intellectual schizophrenia and cultural fragmentation.
The political impact of this intellectually diverse foundation has been traumatic. | Early this year, Dr. Voddie Baucham noted in his acclaimed book, Fault Lines, that in one period in 2020, “nearly eight thousand protests – many of them violent- rocked 2,500 cities from coast to coast for four months.”
The impact of the political movements emanating from Cultural Marxism and its Critical Race Theory was catastrophic in 2020. It was the reason Helen Pluckrose and mathematics professor Dr. James Lindsay wrote the very successful Cynical Theories. | They informed us about the way our postmodern generation thinks about their identity when they wrote, “The ‘individual’ in applied postmodernism is something like the sum of the identity groups to which the person belongs.” For example, an elementary school boy in Oklahoma might be taught that he might not be a he and would socially fit in with non-binary society. (People who think there are multiple gender identities.) A black student might be made to understand that society is divided into two groups. He is a member of the oppressed group and his best friend who is white is an oppressor.
The authors go on to point out that the applied postmodern leaders believe that objective reality cannot be known. Instead, truth is socially constructed and is a fruit of the local culture. | Dr. Carl Trueman is author of numerous academic books and one of America’s foremost church historians. He also responded to the chaos which enshrouded the international landscape in 2020 by writing The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self.
In what could be seen as an explanation of what we have just heard from James Nickel, Rousas John Rushdoony, and Dr. James Lindsay, Dr. Trueman spoke of Mimesis and Poiesis. They are two words which would serve as excellent fodder for a Sunday morning sermon.
They describe the two fundamental ways of looking at the world and establishing one’s identity:
“A mimetic view regards the world as having a given order and a given meaning and thus sees human beings as required to discover that meaning and conform themselves to it. Poiesis, by way of contrast, sees the world as so much raw material out of which meaning and purpose can be created by the individual.”
Those who travel the second path today have not only used it to create their own identities, but have demanded we affirm their choices. For example, if I don’t participate in someone's same-sex wedding by providing a cake, I no longer deserve to own a bakery. Others have been terminated for not agreeing with politically important subsets of American culture.
This is, of course, one of the devises of the Marxist revolution. To divide a nation by income, sex, race or any other means possible in order to create hatred, chaos, and enough upheaval to grab hold of the political reins of power.
When we turn away from our Creator and look to ourselves or others for life’s meaning, we are low hanging fruit for the hegemony of the secularists who chase the glimmer of political opportunity. Hegemony means political control of one group over another. | In 2016, Yang Jisheng published a 700-page book about how these techniques were used in China in what he called a “state-sponsored reign of terror.” He titled the book The World Turned Upside Down.
I’ll close by quoting from the preface of his book:
“The Culture Revolution had a far greater impact on the lives of ordinary people and on Chinese society in general than any other political movement in the history of the PRC [People's Republic of China]. Large swaths of the population were demonized and persecuted as political enemies, especially those labeled ‘black elements’ (landlords, rich peasants, counter-revolutionaries, bad elements, and rightists), along with teachers, scholars, and artists whose work had to do with culture and education. A vast number of them were illegally detained, interrogated, tortured, and even brutally murdered or driven to suicide …17 million in total were sent to the countryside to be ‘reeducated’ by peasants … According to official estimates, the total number of people affected by campaigns against political enemies amounts to a hundred million, which was 1/8 of China’s population at the time … ordinary people were churned and plummeted into abject misery … the ideology of the political road that Mao chose created a fanatical mass movement that meted our unprecedented brutality to the political underclass and individuals with alternative viewpoints … The totalitarian tyranny and control of the new class, which came into being during the revolution, has become the yoke from under which the blood and sweat of all members of society flow.”
Our speaker this week has played an important role in exposing the forces in American culture which are using these techniques to destroy American Christianity and the American Constitution in an effort to establish a Mao-like tyranny here.
The battle is at hand and we have every reason to expect we will drive these forces into the ground. Come Wednesday and bring a friend or two. |

I mentioned in the September 13 OCPAC newsletter that the Federal Office of Inspector General for Health and Human Services is investigating the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH).
The outcome of that investigation is not known at this time.
However, even if there are no federal crimes that are prosecutable, should Oklahomans have to settle for incompetent elected officials and bureaucrats who hide our funds from our elected House and Senate members?
In 2017, the OSDH misrepresented their financial condition to the Oklahoma Legislature in order to secure $30 million of taxpayer funding but also used the phony shortfall claim to fire 198 innocent civil servants.
This spawned an Oklahoma Grand Jury inquiry and made it quite obvious that there were problems not only inside the OSDH but also in those elected officials who are supposed to be protecting the citizens.
It revealed serious issues with the State Auditor and Inspector (SA&I) who is responsible for annual audits of Oklahoma’s agencies and the official watchdog of the taxpayer's funding of Oklahoma government.
The SA&I's Office audited the federal accounts at the OSDH every year but somehow missed or ignored the fact that over a 7-year period OSDH was 'hiding' funds in those accounts. | Not only did the SA&I fail over those 7 years to catch OSDH's hiding of funds but when OSDH claimed there was a state funding shortfall of $30 million they apparently were so incompetent that they did not realize that all funds are held by the State Treasurer's office and there was never a shortfall in state funding.
SA&I at the very least failed to alert the legislature and protect not only the taxpayers of the state but the 198 employees who were fired using the excuse of a funding shortfall.
This past week, a few of the members of the OCPAC Executive Team received a two-page letter from State Auditor and Inspector Cindy Byrd complaining about my search for answers. She accused me of “false allegations, slanderous libel, false information, and name-calling.” There is nothing false about the fact that Ms. Byrd has attempted to thwart my attempt to reveal the full truth regarding the OSDH scandal.
Perhaps Ms. Byrd thinks the U.S. Inspector General is also on a fool’s errand.
Actually, Ms. Byrd’s predecessor, Gary Jones, who served as SA&I during the time OSDH was 'hiding' funds, stopped me at this weekend’s GOP State Executive Committee meeting. He told me that when this is all over, I will be proved a fool. Perhaps Cindy Byrd and Gary Jones have dunce hats ready for both the U.S. Inspector General and me.
I have seen enough both in unarguable facts regarding the failure of the SA&I to perform the functions we elect them for and in the aggressiveness of Ms. Byrd and her staff to prevent my subject matter experts from seeing the full range of public evidence to believe her unfit to hold the office of State Auditor and Inspector.
I would not have made public mention of Mr. Jones had he not publicly self-exposed this past Friday night. He made his interest in my investigation public on social media complete with some embarrassing colorful embellishments in his choice of words. There is much more to come out about Mr. Jones' behavior that will become public shortly.
Personal attacks and harassment by the SA&I including Ms. Byrd providing my email address to a supporter to use to harass me does not change these facts. The scandal cost 198 innocent people their jobs, many who had served the state diligently for many years.
It cost the taxpayers of Oklahoma in excess of $30 million. Why are the last two SA&Is so determined to prevent the full truth being known?
We have not received all the material we originally requested. Ms. Byrd has stalled, obfuscated, threatened, and made what we believe to be false statements regarding redactions.
It seems odd she has made our request to shed light on public documents so contentious and difficult when one would think that she would be as interested in getting to the root of the problem regarding those who perpetrated the act, those who either looked the other way or should have known. Instead, what we are finding is what appears to be an attempt to cover up the incompetence of multiple state agencies including Ms. Byrd's.
Despite the refusal to provide all the records originally requested, our investigation is proceeding and has already turned up numerous facts regarding the scandal and the State Auditor's Office that were not heretofore publicly known.
Given the new facts regarding an unseemly relationship between the Attorney General who was in charge of prosecuting the OSDH scandal and the Chief Operating Officer of OSDH, Ms. Byrd has some questions to answer.
Did the Attorney General Mike Hunter and Ms. Byrd partner to send the rambling five-page letter that a reasonable person would view as an intimidation attempt?
Did Ms. Byrd or Mr. Jones know about the relationship but chose to stay silent even though the conflict of interest is evident?
Did the members of the Attorney General's Office know about the relationship and chose to not fully prosecute the case?
Did Gary Jones and the Attorney General conspire to 'make the case go away' by presenting only a partial list of the evidence we now know was provided to them?
Ms. Byrd can clear the air on some of these questions by making all communications between the SA&I's Office and the following parties both during the audit precipitated by the scandal AND regarding my data requests public:
The Attorney General The Office of Management of Enterprise Services (OMES) The Oklahoma Department of Health.
As an elected official, I would think the SA&I would feel some compulsion to not only assist private citizens exercising their rights under the Open Records Act, but would also want to ensure the public's trust with greater transparency than has been shown by Cindy Byrd to date.
The truth is that the SA&I office, had they actually been doing their jobs, would have interceded between the OSDH and the Oklahoma Legislature when they got wind of the intent to ask for $30 million.
Their complicity explains the aggressive behavior of their media representative at past OCPAC meetings and the continued efforts to bring this investigation to a stop.
You should also know that there is a multifaceted financial gauntlet which should have also prevented the scandal.
First, of course, is the State Auditor's office. Also failing to do their jobs were the OSDH Fiscal Integrity Board, the Office of Management and Enterprise Service (OMES), the Oklahoma Secretary of Finance, and both House and Senate staff.
You have my assurance that my subject matter experts and I will NOT be intimidated into giving up our quest to finally shine a light on this scandal.

It is important to expose these enemies who have crept into Christendom. These have entered our Christian institutions in an effort to destroy the Church. The "gospel" they promote will bear no fruit. Marxist ideology mixed with Bible verses will produce neither salvation nor the health, peace, and prosperity of civilizations.
Marxist concepts like social justice, critical race theory and the myths inherent in the concept of "white privilege" are ungodly, contrary to all of the Scriptures, and represent evil and destructive weapons designed to destroy the church, the family, and societies. They are drenched in narcissism and hatred.
