OCPAC Weekly Insights Monday Edition June 10, 2019
| | THIS WEDNESDAY'S OCPAC June 12, 2019 | | In Person & Live on Facebook THE U.S. BORDER | | We know we get sanitized news regarding the border through the media. Pastor Bruce DeLay has spent the past twenty-five years on the border helping local ranchers meet the challenges of violent insurgents who cross their properties throughout the year.
Through his radio broadcasts and meetings like the one this coming Wednesday at OCPAC, Pastor DeLay speaks about the raw truth of life on the border and the untold risks it places on the local American citizens as well as the states being infiltrated.
Bruce will be connecting through a media link with one of the local ranchers who will speak to us live and be available to answer questions no one else will answer. This past March, Pastor DeLay uncovered a number of amazing stories that both he and this rancher will share. | | Arizona Rancher Richard Hodges | | Richard Hodges will join us live via media hookup. His back fence runs along the Arizona/Mexico border in Cochise County. He has for most of his life had to deal with the lack of responsibility of both the state of Arizona and the Federal government protecting the border. He has attended funerals by those who have lost their lives simply because this portion of the United States is a haven for lawlessness.
Hear what it is like to live a life like this. To try to earn a living and raise a family when you have no government to protect you!
What he has to tell you will never hear on T.V. | | Oklahoma Senator Nathan Dahm | | Nathan will highlight a few of the bills that have either graced or disgraced our legislature this year. He will also provide examples of how multiculturalism has weakened the integrity of Oklahoma's elections. | | Join us THIS WEDNESDAY! FINAL WEEK: Judge Bill Graves, author of OCPAC's book of the month here. | | The Wall, America's Multi-Cultural Crisis by Bob Linn | America culture has lost its soul to the myths of human autonomy and the many gods and demons who accompany the loss of a Christian foundation. Our cultural decay is the reason we have no desire to guard our borders or to maintain a national conscience. It is a dark hour, because we have no national conscience. Until we re-discover our Christian foundations, we may never see our borders secure.
Until the nation re-discovers its Christian heritage, we will continue to elect political representatives who proudly and overtly display their lack of concern for historic American virtue. In the minds of the multicultural left, open borders are no threat, as we have nothing in particular to protect. We are as lost as they are. | Case in point: Oklahoma’s 5th district congresswoman, Kendra Horn. Last week, Horn backed a bill for "Dreamers" Horn said the bill “protects Dreamers who came to our country as children, who see America as the only home they’ve ever known.
Her reason has nothing to do with establishing meaningful national and cultural foundations. She said, “It gives them a pathway to lawful permanent residency but only if they are building a life here, doing things like pursuing an education, building a business or serving in the military. It’s time we remove uncertainty from the lives of these families.”
Clearly, she reflects a complete blank slate when it comes to the foundations of American greatness and the backbone of Western Civilization.
Oklahoma is now home to 18,700 immigrants who are eligible for protection under the Dream and Promise Act.
The four Oklahoma counties who are bearing most of this burden are: Oklahoma (7,500); Tulsa (5,100); Cleveland (1,100) and Canadian (700).
While the bill is expected to die in Senate, it reflects a voter base who has completely lost its way. I predict this will continue until our pulpits (and the churches they lead) begin to appreciate their earthly callings to build nations whose God is the Lord (Matt 28). | Dr. P. Andrew Sandlin points out that the United States does not have an immigration problem, but a multicultural problem. He states that immigration's eroding impact culturally is only a recent phenomenon. Historically, immigrants came to America to become a part of what has made us great.
He also points out that much of our demise has come from within. He speaks of the influence of libertarian Marxism which has attacked the Christian foundation which made America great. Our Christian foundations have made us intellectually, economically, morally, and spiritually distinct. Having lost those through a commitment to the myth of relativism has led to a focus on multiculturalism.
Again, we have lost any sense of a healthy, robust culture for immigrants to assimilate into. We no longer know who we are.
Read Dr. Sandlin's complete article here. | Earlier, I addressed our having forgotten our foundations in Christendom. Dr Joseph Boot of the Ezra Institute makes the point that it is not only in the political and legal spheres that biblical law has been excluded, but it is true in the churches as well. For this reason, it is the church which is responsible for the cultural amnesia eating away at our foundations. He states, “…a culture that hates the commands of God will promote death. No social commentary is needed to see the value of this point in our Western context given our dramatic lunge toward death over the last sixty years as we have abandoned God’s law.” ~Joseph Boot, The Mission of God, p 390

He confronts a culture which has, in the words of the Apostle Paul to Rome, exchanged truth for a lie (Romans 1).
This began with our first parents who chose to move the foundation of their lives from the solid rock of the divine revelation of their Creator to that which would accommodate the sinful lust of their flesh and their sinful pride in that fleshly life. The Apostle John reflects on the fallout which continues to manifest from that fateful day in the Garden and reminds us that our true home is in the arms of our heavenly Father where we may abide in the eternal unchanging light of life. (See I John 2.)

| AFA has engaged with Walmart on the issue of promoting homosexual dating in their stores.
Around Valentine's Day, AFA was alerted that Walmart had launched a gay dating ad on their Facebook page. Citing concerns over the promotion and normalization of homosexuality, AFA and OneMillionMoms.com launched petitions that garnered over 190,000 signers asking Walmart President Doug McMillon to remove the video.
As a result of the petition, senior executives with AFA met with senior executives at Walmart where objections to the video ad were strongly and respectfully articulated. This led to a forthright and engaging discussion about the matter.
The video has rotated off the company's Facebook video spotlight, but remains on the page. AFA asked Walmart to remain neutral on the promotion of homosexuality, and we believe that our concerns were heard. AFA will continue to monitor Walmart as it pertains to the LGBTQ agenda.
AFA has welcomed the opportunity to engage with Walmart on this issue. Thousands of AFA supporters have exhibited their commitment to Christian values in signing the petition.
