It is a discussion of the nature of governments and the people who live under their administration.
He had not gone quite a hundred pages when he made this query:
Do officials live in fear of overstepping their bounds or do they swagger?
That line made an impression on me the first time I read it. It represented Codevilla’s method of assessing the nature of the state in which one lives.
REVOLUTION IN AMERICA
America is in the midst of a revolution. Those who have escaped communist countries to come to America recognize the maneuvers of the political left as identical to the methods used in the communist intrusions into their own homeland.
We see shades of this in our institutions we don't normally associate with the radical left.
On September 13, I wrote at length about my investigation into the Oklahoma State Department of Health and the office of the State Auditor & Inspector in the OCPAC newsletter.
When I made reference to Oklahoma's Title 51, Section 24, it was to point out that contrary to policy in communist nations, Oklahoma law states that the people “are vested with the inherent right to know and be fully informed about their government.”
If we seek public records with timidity and a spirit of fear and trembling, we have not understood what it means to live in the land of the free and the home of the brave. This includes our "right to know" about what is going on in our schools and our bureaucracies. These institutions must not hide public information from “we the people”.
WE HAVE WORK TO DO
Two recent events illustrate the work we have to do in Oklahoma to achieve a free, robust, and prosperous state.
EDUCATION
Our speaker last week was Oklahoma Attorney General John O’Connor. Carl Stephens told the Attorney General that the Superintendent of Pauls Valley Public Schools had ordered the Pauls Valley Police Department to arrest him if he were to be found again on the grounds of Pauls Valley Public Schools. This was because he made inquiry regarding the number of Pauls Valley students that took the 2019 statewide test.
This only confirms, on a local level, the national reaction of the White House, the U.S. Attorney General, and the FBI to call parents coming to school board meetings with questions domestic terrorists.
BUREAUCRACIES
There was another incident from last week. Cindy Byrd, Oklahoma’s State Auditor and Inspector, contacted a few of OCPAC’s Executive Board. She emailed them to accuse me of “false allegations, slanderous libel, false information, and name-calling.”
This in response to my asking for public records and reporting on what I am finding. For that, I am being harassed. See a more complete discussion on this at the bottom of this newsletter.
I mention these incidents because America has never been so close to collapse. Dark forces now control enough of the news media, the educational institutions, and all levels of government to cast a dark shadow over the nation.
A collapse would mean surrendering complete authority to those bent on the destruction of America and her churches.
I spoke earlier of of Oklahoma’s Title 51 Section 24. Tolerating the abuse of "T51.S24" would indicate we have lost our way. Our having been vested with the inherent right to know and be fully informed about Oklahoma’s government indicates a responsibility to be informed.
We must shed our identity as “subjects” and regain the demeanor of the “citizen.” Whether it be our educational institutions, our bureaucracies, or any other realm of civic life, the light of truth will be the call of the citizen who seeks to preserve his culture.

His presence in the room certainly added to the stature of the meeting. | Senator Shane Jett actually grew up listening to Bott radio while working in his father's garage.
His father had the dial set on Bott Radio and it played all day.
So, Senator Jett told his childhood Bott Radio story and introduced Bott President, Rich Bott. He explained how the conversations between him and his dad seemed to be always impacted by what they were hearing on Bott.

Find Dr. Everett Piper here. | On September 30, Michael Kruger, writing for the Gospel Coalition, an organization that describes itself as “a fellowship … deeply committed to renewing our faith in the gospel of Christ and to… conform fully to the Scriptures,” wrote the following: “Submission is a Christian virtue… [Christian] citizens are called to submit to… government. And [faithful] men should be leading the way in doing so.”
And, thus, Dr. Kruger doubles down on a passage of Scripture that has become more ubiquitously quoted in our Covid-times than even John 3:16.
It’s a verse found in Saint Paul’s letter to the first-century church of Rome: “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.”
Now, as a conservative Christian, I also believe in “conforming fully to the Scriptures,” but doesn’t Paul’s epistle to the Romans beg the obvious question: What is the definition of “governing authorities” to whom we are to submit?
Surely the answer matters, doesn’t it? I mean, not all governments are the same. The “authorities” of the Roman Empire were clearly different than those of modern-day countries such as Jordan, Syria, or even the United Kingdom. And if various “governments” have varied definitions, then we ought to first ask the question, “who is the ultimate governing authority in America?” before we preach submission to that government?
The definition of American government is quite clear. “We the People” are the ultimate governing authority of our nation. In the United States, the People are the king. | Consider the following:

We are the government. We are the authorities. We are the sovereign.
The People are “the king.”
Anyone who suggests otherwise is the one out of conformity with the Scriptures and our Constitution, not us.

I mentioned in the September 13 OCPAC newsletter that the Federal Office of Inspector General for Health and Human Services is investigating the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH).
The outcome of that investigation is not known at this time.
However, even if there are no federal crimes that are prosecutable, should Oklahomans have to settle for incompetent elected officials and bureaucrats who hide our funds from our elected House and Senate members?
In 2017, the OSDH misrepresented their financial condition to the Oklahoma Legislature in order to secure $30 million of taxpayer funding but also used the phony shortfall claim to fire 198 innocent civil servants.
This spawned an Oklahoma Grand Jury inquiry and made it quite obvious that there were problems not only inside the OSDH but also in those elected officials who are supposed to be protecting the citizens.
It revealed serious issues with the State Auditor and Inspector (SA&I) who is responsible for annual audits of Oklahoma’s agencies and the official watchdog of the taxpayer's funding of Oklahoma government.
The SA&I's Office audited the federal accounts at the OSDH every year but somehow missed or ignored the fact that over a 7-year period OSDH was 'hiding' funds in those accounts. | Not only did the SA&I fail over those 7 years to catch OSDH's hiding of funds but when OSDH claimed there was a state funding shortfall of $30 million they apparently were so incompetent that they did not realize that all funds are held by the State Treasurer's office and there was never a shortfall in state funding.
SA&I at the very least failed to alert the legislature and protect not only the taxpayers of the state but the 198 employees who were fired using the excuse of a funding shortfall.
This past week, a few of the members of the OCPAC Executive Team received a two-page letter from State Auditor and Inspector Cindy Byrd complaining about my search for answers. She accused me of “false allegations, slanderous libel, false information, and name-calling.” There is nothing false about the fact that Ms. Byrd has attempted to thwart my attempt to reveal the full truth regarding the OSDH scandal.
Perhaps Ms. Byrd thinks the U.S. Inspector General is also on a fool’s errand.
Actually, Ms. Byrd’s predecessor, Gary Jones, who served as SA&I during the time OSDH was 'hiding' funds, stopped me at this weekend’s GOP State Executive Committee meeting. He told me that when this is all over, I will be proved a fool. Perhaps Cindy Byrd and Gary Jones have dunce hats ready for both the U.S. Inspector General and me.
I have seen enough both in unarguable facts regarding the failure of the SA&I to perform the functions we elect them for and in the aggressiveness of Ms. Byrd and her staff to prevent my subject matter experts from seeing the full range of public evidence to believe her unfit to hold the office of State Auditor and Inspector.
I would not have made public mention of Mr. Jones had he not publicly self-exposed this past Friday night. He made his interest in my investigation public on social media complete with some embarrassing colorful embellishments in his choice of words. There is much more to come out about Mr. Jones' behavior that will become public shortly.
Personal attacks and harassment by the SA&I including Ms. Byrd providing my email address to a supporter to use to harass me does not change these facts. The scandal cost 198 innocent people their jobs, many who had served the state diligently for many years.
It cost the taxpayers of Oklahoma in excess of $30 million. Why are the last two SA&Is so determined to prevent the full truth being known?
We have not received all the material we originally requested. Ms. Byrd has stalled, obfuscated, threatened, and made what we believe to be false statements regarding redactions.
It seems odd she has made our request to shed light on public documents so contentious and difficult when one would think that she would be as interested in getting to the root of the problem regarding those who perpetrated the act, those who either looked the other way or should have known. Instead, what we are finding is what appears to be an attempt to cover up the incompetence of multiple state agencies including Ms. Byrd's.
Despite the refusal to provide all the records originally requested, our investigation is proceeding and has already turned up numerous facts regarding the scandal and the State Auditor's Office that were not heretofore publicly known.
Given the new facts regarding an unseemly relationship between the Attorney General who was in charge of prosecuting the OSDH scandal and the Chief Operating Officer of OSDH, Ms. Byrd has some questions to answer.
Did the Attorney General Mike Hunter and Ms. Byrd partner to send the rambling five-page letter that a reasonable person would view as an intimidation attempt?
Did Ms. Byrd or Mr. Jones know about the relationship but chose to stay silent even though the conflict of interest is evident?
Did the members of the Attorney General's Office know about the relationship and chose to not fully prosecute the case?
Did Gary Jones and the Attorney General conspire to 'make the case go away' by presenting only a partial list of the evidence we now know was provided to them?
Ms. Byrd can clear the air on some of these questions by making all communications between the SA&I's Office and the following parties both during the audit precipitated by the scandal AND regarding my data requests public:
The Attorney General The Office of Management of Enterprise Services (OMES) The Oklahoma Department of Health.
As an elected official, I would think the SA&I would feel some compulsion to not only assist private citizens exercising their rights under the Open Records Act, but would also want to ensure the public's trust with greater transparency than has been shown by Cindy Byrd to date.
The truth is that the SA&I office, had they actually been doing their jobs, would have interceded between the OSDH and the Oklahoma Legislature when they got wind of the intent to ask for $30 million.
Their complicity explains the aggressive behavior of their media representative at past OCPAC meetings and the continued efforts to bring this investigation to a stop.
You should also know that there is a multifaceted financial gauntlet which should have also prevented the scandal.
First, of course, is the State Auditor's office. Also failing to do their jobs were the OSDH Fiscal Integrity Board, the Office of Management and Enterprise Service (OMES), the Oklahoma Secretary of Finance, and both House and Senate staff.
You have my assurance that my subject matter experts and I will NOT be intimidated into giving up our quest to finally shine a light on this scandal.
THE PUBLIC DESERVES OPEN and HONEST GOVERNMENT | PRESERVE OKLAHOMA'S FUTURE Help us Find an Auditor | WANTED
An honest, non-partisan Certified Public Accountant with a strong interest in protecting the financial interests of the citizens in their government.
Must be knowledgeable about all forms of audits and reviews and willing to apply that knowledge without reservation when carrying out the Constitutional and statutory requirements of the Office.
A successful candidate for this opening will strictly adhere to the requirement that any audit or review done by their office must be independent and performed only at the highest level of competency as defined by the Oklahoma Accounting Board’s rules for audit and review.
They must be willing without caveat to meet this obligation of the Office of the State Auditor and Inspector and not use the Office to pursue partisan objectives and/or to protect any elected official, state employee, company and/or individual.

Protestants, Catholics, and the Orthodox church have been infiltrated. Our beloved evangelistic organizations have seen wolves in sheep's clothing rise to the very top.
The head of the Russian Orthodox church is a KGB agent. The Pope is a Marxist. The evangelical church has been deeply penetrated. That penetration goes to the very top of institutions we thought were rock solid. This includes the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), the Southern Baptist Church, the former Campus Crusade for Christ (now, CRU), and many others.
The evidence is iron clad. I was on the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ and worked with founder and President, Dr. Bill Bright. Sadly, I have been made aware that Marxist concepts have become pervasive at their national conferences over the past few years. It is both clear and stunning. Marxist language is now a part of their programs on campuses throughout the nation.
I've also spent many years in the Southern Baptist Church. In addition, my wife and I founded a PCA church in our living room many years ago. In spite of my close relationship with all these institutions, the evidence of their fall from Godliness is overwhelming.
In the near future, I plan to focus on the developments within the organization I once knew as Campus Crusade for Christ.
It is important to expose these enemies who have crept into Christendom. These have entered our Christian institutions in an effort to destroy the Church. The "gospel" they promote will bear no fruit. Marxist ideology mixed with Bible verses will produce neither salvation nor the health, peace, and prosperity of civilizations.
Marxist concepts like social justice, critical race theory and the myths inherent in the concept of "white privilege" are ungodly, contrary to all of the Scriptures, and represent evil and destructive weapons designed to destroy the church, the family, and societies. They are drenched in narcissism and hatred.
These ideas, now permeating most of our seminaries and academic institutions (beginning in elementary school), will soon destroy the nation if we do not expose them for the evil they represent. | PLEASE HELP US FINISH THIS PROJECT BY CONTRIBUTING HERE.
