Gov. Stitt: High In Saddle for Liberty | CRITICAL RACE THEORY at OCPAC

Published Monday, March 15, 2021
AT NOON WEDNESDAY
Central Oklahoma Home Builders

DR. JAMES TAYLOR

Dr. James Taylor will address an issue which has ravaged the American church, our seminaries, higher education, and common education.

Critical Theory (minus the "race") has been around since the 1960s in our institutions of higher education. Grounded in Marxism, it is a theory which indicates that societies are based on ideas created by those who control the "means of production."

It has recently been developed to include the idea that society is also shaped by those who create tyrannies based on race, gender, and other identities.

It has been used to state that being white is in itself indicative of unjust levels of privilege bearing the inherent obligation to make reparations to those of other skin colors.

In the wake of the impact this idea had in the riots of 2020, Dr. Taylor has stepped forward to deny the concept as in direct opposition to the Word of God.

Hear James Taylor Wednesday!

Critical Theory A Danger to America's Future
I recently reviewed the national training conference for the largest missionary organization in the world. (I spent ten years with this organization.) One of the keynote speakers referred to the obligatory use of correct English grammar as racist.

I am quite disappointed with the comment and am reminded of comments by John Frame, one of this century’s most important theologians.

Dr. Frame notes that, in the wake of Immanuel Kant’s Critique of Pure Reason came “twentieth century movements such as pragmatism, phenomenology, existentialism, and present-day deconstruction (seeing language and knowledge as tools for achieving power in society).”
~ John Frame, Cornelius Van Til, An Analysis of His Thought, P 273.

It is a bit of this philosophical deconstructionism combined with cultural Marxism that has provided some of the bravado used by the proponents of Critical Race Theory and their attack on Western Civilization and the foundations of American culture.

I am publishing a number of articles in this week’s edition that address Critical Race Theory. It represents the foundation of a movement to destroy the American church, the American family, and American Industry.

Be sure to come and bring a friend to this Wednesday’s meeting where Oklahoma's own James Taylor will address the issue. In addition, two of Oklahoma’s conservative Senators will talk about how the Senate is handling the issues inherent in the concept.

Be sure to bring a friend and especially some who are under thirty years old and under the tutelage of our educational institutions.

Bring an entire classroom!
I'll see you this Wednesday!

God bless!
LAST WEEK
Senator David Bullard made a very powerful case for the movement to reform higher education in Oklahoma. He was first up and his portion is well worth viewing.

Former Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating provided compelling reasons why Oklahoma must get behind the movement to allow those in our failing schools to use the education funding set aside for each Oklahoma child to apply that funding to another school either public or private.

He also made some encouraging comments about higher education and let us know that we need to make our voices heard.

KEVIN STITT
VOICE FOR LIBERTY
Last Thursday, Governor Kevin Stitt said:

"The standard for normal cannot be zero cases. In Oklahoma, the standard for normal is freedom. The freedom to worship, the freedom to go to work and earn a paycheck, the freedom to visit your loved ones in nursing homes, the freedom to send your kids to school in person and the freedom to protect your family however you see fit. As long as I am Governor, I will protect the freedoms of Oklahomans."

The Governor then indicated there would be no statewide restrictions on events nor would there be masking requirements in state buildings.

Thank you, Governor!
DR. CAL BEISNER
SOCIAL JUSTICE
Dr. Cal Beisner has published a new book on Social Justice.

The “social justice” movement is turning America upside down. It works through terms like “Woke”, “Woke Progressivism”, “Cultural Marxism”, “Critical Race Theory”, “Critical Gender Theory”, and “Critical Theory.”

The “social justice” being promoted in our schools and universities today does not mean equal justice for everyone in society.

Dr. E. Calvin Beisner makes the case that Biblical justice is in many respects the very opposite of what now goes by the name of “social justice.”

• Biblical justice requires impartiality; “social justice” requires favoring some groups over others.

• Biblical justice requires rendering to every individual his or her due, what is earned; “social justice” requires giving people benefits they haven’t earned.

• Biblical justice entails “negative rights,” that is, rights against harm, that can all be fulfilled without violating anyone’s rights; “social justice” entails “positive rights” to benefits that can be given to some only by depriving them from others.

Social Justice vs. Biblical Justice can help you explain to your children, their friends, your neighbors, and your fellow church members what the confusions are and how to correct them.

Critical Race Theory Poisons Our Discussion of Racism

For critical race theorists, racial identities are the foundation of systems of oppression. Critical race theory represents perhaps the worst tyranny of all; namely, the tyranny over the mind and it leaves no room for meaningful discourse.

Tyranny describes the true nature of all leftist ideology. It is ultimately authoritarian in nature. You either agree with the left’s worldview or you are an enemy of all that is good.

These theories have permeated higher
education and the mainstream media.

In college humanities classes, critical theory and its grievance studies accoutrements (critical race theory, feminist theory, and postcolonialism, to name a few) are presented as the only and correct way to understand the world.

THE VALUE OF AN IDEA
IS A FUNCTION OF SKIN

The Western canon’s lack of gender and race diversity makes it unworthy of study. In other words, one’s gender and/or skin color make their ideas worthy (or not) of discussing.

Critical race theory is presented as the singular lens through which one ought to see the world. Race is a social construct, enforced by those in power (white men), and predetermines someone’s role and ability in society.

Most college graduates with training in the humanities and social sciences lack the vocabulary to talk about racism and prejudice without using the framework of “systemic racism” and “white privilege.”

IF YOU DISAGREE
YOU ARE RACIST

If you disagree with that philosophical framework, then you are ipso facto against fighting racism or deny that racism even exists. And if you push back on the use of terms such as “power structure” or “systemic racism,” you are likewise accused.

That’s particularly damaging on two levels. First, it precludes any meaningful conversation about racism and race. Second, it creates a chasm between two presumably well-meaning people who most likely agree racism is bad, but disagree on the best way to address it.

Surely there are individuals who think that English should be our country’s official language, that securing our borders is necessary to uphold the rule of law, and that the Western canon is an important part of a robust liberal arts education, while also thinking that racism is wrong and wanting to do their part to stop it.

But within the paradigm of critical race theory, that’s not possible. You either resist the hegemonic white supremacist power structure (which includes Western civilization classes and Columbus Day) or you are a racist.

CONVERSATION NOT ALLOWED

That’s hardly a way to have productive conversations that lead to ending racism. Regrettably, this divisiveness can be applied to all leftist doctrine, including and especially Marxism, from which critical race theory is derived.

Critical race theory does not seek equality or justice. Instead, it categorizes people. One’s gender, race, or sexual orientation posits you as the oppressed or an oppressor—a status from which you are freed only when all existing societal structures, which are inherently racist, are overthrown.

CRITICAL RACE THEORY
WILL NOT BRING UTOPIA

However, history shows us that authoritarianism, not utopia, follows revolution. We need only look to Cuba, Iran, and Venezuela as examples. Those once-prosperous countries, albeit not without problems, were captivated by the revolutionary narrative of leftism only to find out the hard way that revolution serves only those in power.

Leftism does not seek enduring notions of truth, goodness, or justice. It seeks only to subjugate the other as a means of overthrowing an existing structure. Once that structure is overthrown, the leaders of the revolution will find someone new to subjugate.

TYRANNY OF THE MIND

Our fight against prejudice is being done through what is perhaps the worst tyranny of all; namely, the tyranny over the mind.

In last week’s newsletter, I suggested that School Boards everywhere should institute serious curricula reforms. Perhaps the very first reform should revisit the story of America’s first private national bank.

REVISITING THE STORY of
AMERICA'S FIRST PRIVATE BANK

Presently, our youth are being told a pleasant fiction of how this bank came to be. The real story reveals a fateful breach of the Constitution and prompts us to be far more vigilant today and tomorrow.

THE HISTORY ACCORDING TO
THE U.S. STATE DEPARTMENT
The State Department’s Outline Of US History sets down a misleading version of how the first private national bank came to be and this version seems to inform the textbooks used in public schools.

On pages 78-80 of the most recent edition (2011) of the aforementioned Outline Of US History, we encounter the official story of how, in 1792, Alexander Hamilton, overcoming the objection of Thomas Jefferson, established America’s first private national bank, the distant forerunner of today’s Federal Reserve Bank System (or FED). We are led to believe that Hamilton’s creation was a worthy undertaking, for it promoted “progress” via “sound credit.” What is more, this creation was the byproduct of his “instinctive conservatism.”

The Outline Of US History duly notes Jefferson’s main argument: the US Constitution did not grant to the federal government the power to establish a private national bank. Hamilton’s retort was politically decisive, however. The Constitution authorized Congress to “make all laws which shall be necessary and proper” for carrying out other powers specifically granted. The power to establish a private national bank was not “enumerated” in the Constitution. No matter, it was implied, said Hamilton.

The State Department sums up the battle between Hamilton and Jefferson over the bank, thus. “[Then President George] Washington and Congress accepted Hamilton’s view.”

BANKING HISTORY AS
SEEN IN 1825 TEXTBOOK
It is at once instructive and unsettling to turn to early American textbooks and to see what they have to say about the bank battle of 1792.

One such textbook is A History Of The United States Of America On A Plan Adapted To The Capacity Of Youth, by Charles Goodrich.

Published in 1825, Goodrich’s textbook tells a significantly different story about the coming of the bank of 1792. On page 202 of his work, we read that Hamilton’s bank proposal sailed through the Senate and was “permitted to progress, unmolested, in the House of Representatives, to the third reading. On the final reading, an unexpected opposition appeared against it, on the ground that [among other things] … Congress was not vested by the Constitution, with the competent power to establish a [private] national bank.”

After a very heated debate, the bank bill passed by “a majority of nineteen voices.” Because of the “warmth” of debate which greeted the bill, President Washington felt it necessary to examine the bill very closely and “required the opinions of the cabinet in writing. The Secretary of State, Mr. Jefferson, and the Attorney General, Mr. Randolph, considered the bill as decidedly unconstitutional.”

Nonetheless, the chief executive, siding with the Secretary of the Treasury, Mr. Hamilton, concluded in favor of “the constitutionality and utility” of the bank bill.

Goodrich concludes his narration of the bank battle as follows. “The [bank] bill … contributed greatly [to the formation of those two political parties—Hamilton’s Federalist Party and Jefferson’s Republican Party--which have been at each other’s throats ever since and] … have shaken the United States to their centre.”
Goodrich’s narration of the bank battle helps the reader find the truth and significance of what happened in 1792, far more readily than does the State Department’s and public-school’s narrations.

THE BATTLE WAS NOT FOUGHT BETWEEN TWO MEN BUT RATHER IN THE U.S. CONGRESS
To read the present-day version of the events of 1792 is to get the impression that the battle over the bank was essentially between two cabinet secretaries—Hamilton and Jefferson.

Instead, Hamilton’s project first met massive opposition in Congress! Yet, this opposition was not a matter of quantity—the sheer number of votes. In fact, those opposed were heavily outnumbered, specifically, 43 voted nay, whereas 62 voted aye.

What the opposition [the minority] did muster was a tremendous quality of argument. This quality was so significant that the chief executive took the unusual step of asking everyone on his cabinet to comment on the bill in writing.

JAMES MADISON LEADS THE OPPOSITION
TO THE BANK BILL IN THE U.S. HOUSE

None other than James Madison, the architect of the Constitution, led the resistance to the bank bill in the House of Representatives. Jefferson included Madison’s opposition floor-speech in the written report that he, Jefferson, submitted to the President.

A fair reading of Madison’s speech will, I insist, lead to the conclusion that he unloaded ethically and legally insurmountable arguments against Hamilton’s measure.

Among them, the Constitutional Convention did not grant the federal government the power to charter corporations nor the power to charter a particular kind of corporation—a private national bank.

Furthermore, the advocates of the Constitution explicitly promised, during the Ratification Conventions of the then 13 states in 1787-88, that the Constitution did not grant, to the federal government, the power to stand up a private national bank. (Nor were these the only powerful arguments that Madison deployed.)

HAMILTON AND THE BANK ENTHUSIASTS AVOIDED THE MORE HONORABLE
AMENDMENT PROCESS
On the other hand, the ratified Constitution includes an Amendment Process. If Hamilton wanted what the Constitution did not grant—in this case, a private national bank—then he should have availed himself of the (more arduous) Amendment Process.

Instead, Hamilton and the bank enthusiasts of the day, committed an end run round the Constitution. They secured but a simple majority in Congress. Ultimately, this sufficed. So much for the sanctity of the US Constitution! This magnificent legal edifice was trampled down, in only the second session of Congress (and third year of the Republic’s career).

What, therefore, should be taught our youth in this instance of the national bank? First of all, the conventional wisdom (and State Department’s interpretation) of the standing up of the first national bank is massively flawed. How can the history books speak of “progress” and of “sound credit” of the infant Republic, when it is the product of unethical maneuvering? And how can we characterize Hamilton as a “conservative”?

MORAL OF THE STORY:
ETERNAL VIGILANCE

Is not the moral of the story of the bank battle of 1792 that “We the People,” moreover, the several states dare not trust the national government too much and must ourselves be far, far more vigilant in seeing to it that the laws of the land are upheld?
Those who control the present also control
the past and, hence, the future.

112 Days of Silence

ARE THE HIDDEN RECORDS INCRIMINATING?
by Bob Linn
It is now one hundred and twelve days since, on Monday, November 23, 2020, I filed an Oklahoma Open Records Request in the Oklahoma State Auditor's office.

CONDEMNED BY
HER OWN WORDS
ON PAGE FOUR
Below is a quote from page four of the October 1, 2020 Special Investigative Audit of Epic Charter Schools by Cindy Byrd. Ms. Byrd makes this statement about the Epic Charter School subsidiary, Community Strategies:

“The lack of cooperation and the roadblocks constructed by Community Strategies, their subsidiary, their charter management organization, and their legal counsels were unprecedented in the experience of SA&I. The legal counsel of Community Strategies, EYS, and Community Strategies-CA, LLC erected barriers around personnel and records limiting access to both, which is normally standard procedure during an investigative audit."

She continues, "The lack of unrestricted access to records and employees greatly inhibited progress and significantly prolonged the timeframe required to complete this audit.”

Speaking of records and prolonged timeframes...

Because Ms. Byrd has, for 112 days, refused to comply with an Open Records Request presented to SA&I, the rhetoric on page four of her Epic Charter School audit is self-condemning.

ONE MORE THING

Also from page four of the Cindy Byrd "audit" is something that seems to contradict rather that fortify her point. She goes on to say:

"Epic Charter Schools has faced intense public scrutiny and has been party to multiple investigations in recent years. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the U.S. Department of Education Office of Inspector General (OIG), and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) have all conducted investigations of Epic Charter Schools. The OSBI is actively involved in an ongoing investigation. The scope of their investigation parallels many of the areas covered in this report."
Of course, I always like to ask the question, “If you were guilty of embezzlement in the past, and were also continuing to embezzle in the present, and the OSBI knocked on your door to investigate you for embezzlement, how long before you might expect an indictment?”

Probably not 8 months and definitely not 8 years. The OSBI fraud inquiry into Epic Charter Schools began in 2014 and has produced not one indictment.

Her mention of an almost annual search by the OSBI which has resulted in not one indictment represents one thing she is good at: empty innuendo.

ENEMIES WITHIN THE CHURCH
By Bob Linn
Pastor Cary Gordon narrates this soon-to-be-released film exposing the Marxist infiltration into America's churches, seminaries, and Christian missionary movements.

Those involved in the film include Trevor Loudon and Curtis Bowers.
This film exposes shocking developments throughout the entire breadth of 21st century Christendom. Protestants, Catholics, and the Orthodox church have been infiltrated. Our beloved evangelistic organizations have seen wolves in sheep's clothing rise to the very top.

The head of the Russian Orthodox church is a KGB agent. The Pope is a Marxist. The evangelical church has been deeply penetrated. That penetration goes to the very top of institutions we thought were rock solid. This includes the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), the Southern Baptist Church, the former Campus Crusade for Christ (now, CRU), and many others.

The evidence is iron clad. I was on the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ and worked with founder and President, Dr. Bill Bright. Sadly, I have been made aware that Marxist concepts have become pervasive at their national conferences over the past few years. It is both clear and stunning. Marxist language is now a part of their programs on campuses throughout the nation.

I've also spent many years in the Southern Baptist Church. In addition, my wife and I founded a PCA church in our living room many years ago. In spite of my close relationship with all these institutions, the evidence of their fall from Godliness is overwhelming.

In the near future, I plan to focus on the developments within the organization I once knew as Campus Crusade for Christ.

It is important to expose these enemies who have crept into Christendom. These have entered our Christian institutions in an effort to destroy the Church. The "gospel" they promote will bear no fruit. Marxist ideology mixed with Bible verses will produce neither salvation nor the health, peace, and prosperity of civilizations.

Marxist concepts like social justice, critical race theory and the myths inherent in the concept of "white privilege" are ungodly, contrary to all of the Scriptures, and represent evil and destructive weapons designed to destroy the church, the family, and societies. They are drenched in narcissism and hatred.

These ideas, now permeating most of our seminaries and academic institutions (beginning in elementary school), will soon destroy the nation if we do not expose them for the evil they represent.
PLEASE HELP US FINISH THIS PROJECT BY CONTRIBUTING HERE.

$40,000 is needed to complete the film.
Consider the opportunity prayerfully.

Thanks!
