It has been a war between the residue of a Christian culture on the one hand, and all forces hostile to Christian culture on the other.
Christian culture is Christendom.
Christendom began with Constantine’s public affirmation of Christianity (and religious liberty) in the 4th century.
Christendom was the visible, public affirmation of Christianity by nations and cultures.
It was Christian civilization, the fruit of Christian disciple-making. It was obedience to Christ’s command to make disciples of the nations.
~Matthew 28 | Christendom was a ubiquitous, transnational way of life shaped by the Bible and Christian tradition. National political leaders weren’t just Christians in their private lives; they were expected to apply their expression of Christianity in the state. | Law, music, education, literature, science, technology, poetry — all aspects of life were expected to pay tribute to Jesus as Savior and Lord.
Society was to be a Christian culture.
The international stature of the Christmas season reflects the ubiquity (universality) and the immense growth of the influence of Christ on the cultures of the nations.
The influence of Christ on literature and music is seen in Handel’s Messiah which is sings of the glories of Christ in concert halls the world over.
Life on earth is to be shaped by the Bible. | The pervasive influence of Christendom is also reflected during the Christmas season in one of the most beloved Christian poems from the English poet, Christina Rossetti. Her poem, destined for fame, was titled In the Bleak Midwinter and was first published in 1872.
It is known as one of the most eloquent and dramatic presentations of the incarnation penned by any poet. It has added to the depth of the Christmas repertoire and salted the Godly cultures of many nations.
Thirty-four years later (1906), Gustav Holst wrote the music which would endear the world to the Christian sentiments of Christina’s Christmas poetry. | It would be ten years later that Holst would complete the musical score for The Planets.
Below, you will find an excellent presentation of Christina Rossetti's Christmas poem, In The Bleak Mid Winter.
I am anticipating that 2021 will represent many significant developments leading to the re-establishment of Christendom and the Biblical foundations of Western Civilization. I certainly hope so, and I am praying and working to that end.
Steps to a Stellar 2021
I want to draw your attention to the many important things which need to be done to help ensure that the radical, secular left is not allowed to steal November’s election from Donald Trump. Find them below.
I also encourage you to become emboldened in your vision for the expansion of Christ’s Kingdom by registering for the City Elder’s dinner, theater, and Patriots conference at the Tulsa Marriott Southern Hills from January 7-9. See complete information below. | Enjoy a bit of Christian poetry written for the Christmas season.
Listen to Christina Rossetti's beloved description of the incarnation carried by the amazing music of Gustav Holst.
The Robert Shaw Chamber Singers performed it well at the Washington Master Chorale (WMC).
If you would like to read the words as you listen:
In the bleak mid-winter Frosty wind made moan; Earth stood hard as iron, Water like a stone; Snow had fallen, snow on snow, Snow on snow, In the bleak mid-winter Long ago.
Our God, heaven cannot hold Him Nor earth sustain, Heaven and earth shall flee away When He comes to reign: In the bleak mid-winter A stable-place sufficed The Lord God Almighty — Jesus Christ.
Enough for Him, whom cherubim Worship night and day, A breastful of milk And a mangerful of hay; Enough for Him, whom Angels Fall down before, The ox and ass and camel Which adore.
Angels and Archangels May have gathered there, Cherubim and seraphim Thronged the air; But only His Mother In her maiden bliss Worshipped the Beloved With a kiss.
What can I give Him, Poor as I am? — If I were a Shepherd I would bring a lamb; If I were a Wise Man I would do my part, — Yet what I can I give Him, — Give my heart. | I'll see many of you Wednesday! | To Every American from SAMUEL ADAMS
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace.
We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

Over the weekend, he sent an update to his masking presentation on December 16, 2020. Find it here. | CHARLIE MEADOWS FIGHTING FOR PROSPERITY IN OKLAHOMA by Charlie Meadows Sunday, December 27, 2020
Edited by Bob Linn | Editor's Note
Charlie remains in Georgia where he is busy campaigning for the U.S. Senate races there. He took a bit of time this week to comment on proposed legislation to artificially establish the value of labor. I've shortened his comments a bit, but these are his thoughts: | Senator George Young (D-OKC) recently unveiled legislation to increase Oklahoma’s minimum wage.
It is, on the surface, a noble effort.
Yet, it is an effort not without collateral damage.
If passed, it will reduce the number of jobs available for those few in Oklahoma who actually do work for “minimum wage.”
Government wage mandates cost jobs. Anytime government forces a business to increase wages, many will be forced to lay off some employees.
Government wage mandates do more than cause the loss of jobs for the very young worker. They result in higher prices every one will have to pay. This includes the minimum-wage worker.
Forced mandates also harm the elderly who survive on a fixed income. | During the Summer of 2018, my wife and I spent nearly 3 months in Alaska and Western Canada.
Canadian provinces and territories have minimum wage rates that range from over $11.00 per hour up to around $16.00 per hour.
A lot of Canadians work for the Canadian minimum wage.
Shocked at how expensive things were in Canada, I began to ask a number of young people how minimum wage hikes in Canada impacted the cost of living. All of them said that every time minimum wages go up, the price of almost everything also increases.
When I asked if they were better off when minimum wages were elevated, they were a bit unsure, providing neither a “yes” or a “no.”
They were, however, certain that everything became more expensive! | Those who suffer most from government-mandated wage hikes are no doubt those living on a fixed income.
The elderly, living on Social Security and/or retirement checks, suffer the loss of buying power.
The lowest wage rates are never intended to represent the compensation of a long-term career. They are not intended to support a family. They are entry level jobs which provide young people the opportunity to learn the ethics of hard work as they achieve marketable skills. | With improved value to employers their wages will rise without the artificial (and incompetent) interference of government.
No employer wants to lose a valuable employee.
Most of these young people earning "minimum wage" still live at home. They do not incur the full cost required to provide the necessities of life.
The quicker young folks learn basic skills, the quicker they will improve their value to their current or future employers. Some are prepared to start a business of their own.
No doubt Senator Young wants to help young people. Especially young black people. He is a compassionate man who wants to avoid harming the elderly.
He would set the economy free to soar if he were to introduce legislation to eliminate Oklahoma’s minimum wage altogether. Prices would drop. Jobs would be plentiful. Opportunities for upward mobility would expand.
The free market is the only entity capable of determining wages for different levels of skill or particular levels of difficulty. | Such a bill would send a message nationwide that Oklahoma is pro-business. That would be one more indicator that Oklahoma is a place for businesses to locate and expand.
When the demand for labor increases, the market causes wages to increase and people have more prosperity. More jobs, better wages (naturally) and lower prices.
This understanding of the free market will incentivize people in their working years to invest for the future so they are not so dependent upon Social Security or pension checks.
And that improves life for everyone.
Charlie Meadows | EVERETT PIPER Secularists plan to re-educate Christians | Secular Dems mistakenly invoke Jefferson's ideals to try and stifle religion in America by Everett Piper
Sunday, December 20, 2020 The Washington Times | This past week, a group defining themselves as Secular Democrats of America, submitted a 28-page letter to Kamala Harris and Joe Biden calling on them to expunge religion from all sectors of American public life and to “re-educate” Christian Americans that they should keep their “religious dogma” to themselves.
In their document, titled Restoring Constitutional Secularism and Patriotic Pluralism in the White House, congressional Democrats Jamie Raskin of Maryland, Jared Huffman of California and Jerry McNerney of California bemoan life under the Trump administration. | They stated:
“The constant entanglement of religion and government … sweeps far beyond hot-button ‘culture war’ issues … It permeates every aspect of government policy — health care, public and private education, foreign policy, tax policy, environmental policy, military policy, and more …”
They continue:
“[Government] decisions should be guided by science and evidence … We believe that now is the right time to make a case for reviving a Jeffersonian approach to governance that favors reason … and to disentangle government policy from the influence of … religious interests that have become dangerously entrenched at all levels of government.”
Well, seeing as Reps. Raskin, Huffman and McNerney are so interested in “reviving” our third president’s “approach to governance,” perhaps they’d do well to actually read some of Jefferson’s words before they presume to spout off bromides of their own. | In 1798, Jefferson wrote the Kentucky Resolution declaring, “[N]o power over the freedom of religion … [is] delegated to the United States by the Constitution.”
In 1805, he stated that “In matters of religion …, its free exercise is placed by the Constitution independent of the powers of the [federal] government.”
In 1808, Jefferson penned a letter to the Methodist Episcopal Church promising, “Our excellent Constitution … has not placed our religious rights under the power of any public functionary.” In that same year, Jefferson said to Samuel Millar, “[We] consider the government of the United States as [prohibited] by the Constitution from intermeddling with religious institutions … or exercises.”
As governor of Virginia, Jefferson introduced bills punishing “disturbers of religious worship” and annulling marriages prohibited by “Levitical law.” And just in case our cute little secular Democrats don’t understand what that means, the chief architect of the Declaration defined it quite clearly as any marital union that was “contrary to that … cohabitation of a man and wife.”
As president, Jefferson declared:
No nation has ever yet existed or been governed without religion — nor can be. The Christian religion is the best religion that has been given to man, and I, as Chief Magistrate of this nation am bound to give it sanction … | In his second inaugural address, Jefferson stated:
I shall need … the favor of that Being in whose hands we are, who led our fathers, as Israel of old, from their native land and planted them in a country flowing with all the necessities and comforts of life: Who has covered our infancy with His providence and our riper years with His wisdom … and to whose goodness I ask you to join in supplications … that He will enlighten [our] minds [and] guide [our] councils …
Yes, it is true that in 1802, the newly elected president of the United States of America wrote of what he called a “wall of separation” between Church and State. But here is a bit of “science,” “reason” and “evidence” that appears to have escaped the notice of our good congressmen. Jefferson’s intent in using this metaphor was crystal clear. He was reassuring a group of concerned conservative Christians from Connecticut that the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution provided them with full and unmitigated protection against any government imposition upon their private or public religious practice.
In his letter to the Danbury Baptists, Jefferson made it clear that “religion is a matter which lies solely between a man and his God,” and just to be sure there was no confusion, he doubled down and concluded, “I contemplate with sovereign reverence that … [your] legislature should make no law … prohibiting the free exercise [of religion].” He then added punctuation by promising that the federal government was prohibited by the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God from intruding into its citizens’ religious lives.
So, Reps. Raskin, Huffman and McNerney, those of us among the science-denying religious rubes on the “Christian right,” agree with you. We think it is a wonderful idea to “revive a Jeffersonian approach to governance” that favors “reason and evidence.” And, maybe we could start with that bit about how “our excellent Constitution … has not placed our religious rights under the power of ANY (emphasis mine) public functionar[ies]” such as those of you who have apparently forgotten how to read. | • Everett Piper may be found here:

Dear (insert name),
As a concerned citizen and registered voter in (name of state), I am writing to ask that you please object to the electoral votes for Joe Biden from contested states.
There has been widespread election fraud with overwhelming, irrefutable evidence. Seven states sent dueling electors on December 14, 2020 to vote against the electoral votes cast for Biden in the contested states of PA, AZ, GA, NM, MI, NV and WI.
Allowing our election to be stolen will be devastating to our republic. A devastation from which we may never recover. The American people need their faith in free and fair elections restored.
We trust that you will be a part of maintaining the integrity of our elections in the United States by voting on January 6, 2021, against the electoral votes cast for Biden.
The fate of our country hangs in the balance.
Sincerely,

God bless and thank you for all you do for Oklahoma! | PRIOR WEEK ENTRIES of Continued Importance ENEMIES WITHIN THE CHURCH By Bob Linn | Pastor Cary Gordon narrates this soon-to-be-released film exposing the Marxist infiltration into America's churches, seminaries, and Christian missionary movements.
Those involved in the film include Trevor Loudon and Curtis Bowers. | This film exposes shocking developments throughout the entire breadth of 21st century Christendom. Protestants, Catholics, and the Orthodox church have been infiltrated. Our beloved evangelistic organizations have seen wolves in sheep's clothing rise to the very top.
The head of the Russian Orthodox church is a KGB agent. The Pope is a Marxist. The evangelical church has been deeply penetrated. That penetration goes to the very top of institutions we thought were rock solid. This includes the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), the Southern Baptist Church, the former Campus Crusade for Christ (now, CRU), and many others.
The evidence is iron clad. I was on the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ and worked with founder and President, Dr. Bill Bright. Sadly, I have been made aware that Marxist concepts have become pervasive at their national conferences over the past few years. It is both clear and stunning. Marxist language is now a part of their programs on campuses throughout the nation.
I've also spent many years in the Southern Baptist Church. In addition, my wife and I founded a PCA church in our living room many years ago. In spite of my close relationship with all these institutions, the evidence of their fall from Godliness is overwhelming.
In the near future, I plan to focus on the developments within the organization I once knew as Campus Crusade for Christ.
It is important to expose these enemies who have crept into Christendom. These have entered our Christian institutions in an effort to destroy the Church. The "gospel" they promote will bear no fruit. Marxist ideology mixed with Bible verses will produce neither salvation nor the health, peace, and prosperity of civilizations.
Marxist concepts like social justice, critical race theory and the myths inherent in the concept of "white privilege" are ungodly, contrary to all of the Scriptures, and represent evil and destructive weapons designed to destroy the church, the family, and societies. They are drenched in narcissism and hatred.
These ideas, now permeating most of our seminaries and academic institutions (beginning in elementary school), will soon destroy the nation if we do not expose them for the evil they represent. | PLEASE HELP US FINISH THIS PROJECT BY CONTRIBUTING HERE.
$50,000 is needed to complete the film. Consider the opportunity prayerfully.
Thanks!
