| As I write this, Jane and I are packing for a trip to Colorado. We are going to help our four-year-old grandson know the thrill of turning five.
I had visions of writing about Max Horkheimer and the mess he bequeathed my children and the rest of the world with his secular ideas about 20th century civilization.
Only a few hours ago, Wes Lane had waxed so incredibly eloquent at the OCPAC luncheon about the lack of purpose inherent in 21st century Christianity and our call to know better.
I hope to do better as well, so I am packing my books in case I am inspired to write while in Colorado. If I have time there to do better, you'll be reading about those pseudo intellectuals author Daniel Flynn calls Intellectual Morons and not about my celebrations with a five-year-old soon-to-be mountain man.
If you are reading this, you'll know I was distracted by this excited little boy, the family, and the scenery. There is good and meaningful reading below, however. Some of it actually comes from Aspen!

Parallels between My Soviet Past and the U.S.A. Today
Let me tell you, I do understand Marx and Lenin. I have 28 years of “industry” experience. As someone who’s seen all the "delights" of socialism, I can draw parallels between my past and what some left-wing political groups are trying to promote here. | Attacking the rich is a major mindset of communists.
St. Louis, MO lawyers, Mark and Patricia McCloskey, were forced to defend their home on a private street in an upscale neighborhood. They were confronted on their front lawn by a crowd marching to Mayor Lyda Krewson’s house. They were protesting racial injustice.
I support the First Amendment right of every citizen to have their voice and opinion heard. This right, however, must be balanced with the Second Amendment which entitles each of us to protect our home and family from potential threats.
Human potential has no bounds. There can be no a limits placed on one’s self-created wealth. Free markets enable flourishing lives through meaningful work.

Destruction and anarchy brought Bolsheviks to power in Russia in 1917. It took the USSR several decades to reach the level of economic activity of the Russian Empire of 1913. After the communist coup d’état, over 20 million people died as a result of starvation, the Great Purge, and in the brutal barbarism of life in the Gulag. Figures for the deaths in the Gulag, Labor Colonies, and prisons alone for 1931–53 were over 1.7 million. | Restricting Freedom of Speech | A few weeks ago, I posted a video on Facebook showing a mob of black men assaulting and beating a random innocent white woman. A close friend of mine, who is general counsel for Koch Industries, told me that this was a sensitive topic and advised that I remove the post lest my career would be compromised.
For almost 26 years since I set my foot on the American soil, I was confident that the eerie feelings of fear for one’s opinion had remained far behind in the Soviet past. However, now– I no longer feel completely safe for my views, words, or opinions. | In closing, borrowing again from the Teflon President: Socialism only works in two places: heaven, where they don't need it and hell where they already have it. | Socialism has never worked.

Protestants, Catholics, and the Orthodox church have been infiltrated. Our beloved evangelistic organizations have seen wolves in sheep's clothing rise to the very top.
The head of the Russian Orthodox church is a KGB agent. The Pope is a Marxist. The evangelical church has been deeply penetrated. That penetration goes to the very top of institutions we thought were rock solid. This includes the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), the Southern Baptist Church, the former Campus Crusade for Christ (now, CRU), and many others.
The evidence is iron clad. I was on the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ and worked with founder and President, Dr. Bill Bright. Sadly, I have been made aware that Marxist concepts have become pervasive at their national conferences over the past few years. It is both clear and stunning. Marxist language is now a part of their programs on campuses throughout the nation.
I've also spent many years in the Southern Baptist Church. In addition, my wife and I founded a PCA church in our living room many years ago. In spite of my close relationship with all these institutions, the evidence of their fall from Godliness is overwhelming.
In the near future, I plan to focus on the developments within the organization I once knew as Campus Crusade for Christ.
It is important to expose these enemies who have crept into Christendom. These have entered our Christian institutions in an effort to destroy the Church. The "gospel" they promote will bear no fruit. Marxist ideology mixed with Bible verses will produce neither salvation nor the health, peace, and prosperity of civilizations.
Marxist concepts like social justice, critical race theory and the myths inherent in the concept of "white privilege" are ungodly, contrary to all of the Scriptures, and represent evil and destructive weapons designed to destroy the church, the family, and societies. They are drenched in narcissism and hatred.
These ideas, now permeating most of our seminaries and academic institutions (beginning in elementary school), will soon destroy the nation if we do not expose them for the evil they represent. | PLEASE HELP US FINISH THIS PROJECT BY CONTRIBUTING HERE.
