Book Recommendations | | SCHOOL CHOICE Hope for the Future by Bob Linn | School choice goes beyond restoring parental rights taken by the government education bureaucracy. It is more than an open door to a robust Christian educational opportunity for our children. It is an opportunity for higher wages for teachers and an opportunity for teachers to work in a wholesome environment where they are allowed to communicate their Christian values. It provides teachers the ability to communicate important academic concepts in a way that best establishes a firm intellectual foundation. It releases the teacher from the dumbing down objectives of the federal government under the banner of common core and a host of other labels.
Next year, OCPAC will be working with a number of legislators and community activists to make headway in making educational tax dollars available to those for whom the money was collected. The children. No one holds a child’s interest more dearly than the child’s parents.
We will present legislation which specifically targets low-income inner-city students who are a part of failing schools and unwholesome environments. The legislation will allow the tax monies collected for the educational benefit of these children to follow them to more private settings where they can actually learn without the distractions inherent in the government school.
Our speaker this week will communicate the potential of a plan to transform our inner-city cultures. Come catch a vision for what is on the horizon for Oklahoma! |

Tulsa Mayor Issues Executive Order LGBTQ identities Affirmed | | Last week, Tulsa Mayor G. T. Bynum, used his mayoral powers to issue Executive Order No. 2019-05 denying the historic understanding of the sexual elements of human ontology. In the one-page document, he affirms the cultural stylish concept of sexual orientation. He states that gender is a fluid identity defined by each individual. Like Oklahoma City’s Mayor David Holt, he has very boldly and publicly taken a stand against the reveled knowledge of God found in Scripture regarding the divinely ordained sexual nature of mankind.
When the mayor told a crowd that a majority of Tulsans love and respect the LGBTQ community, I suspect he may have been a bit careless in his terms. The Church certainly has much compassion for those struggling with their biological realities. Equal to its historic compassion for the struggle mankind has with all sorts of maladies and sin.
However, I doubt any of us appreciate being told we have to celebrate the sin and confused condition of anyone. Nor do we think anyone should suffer the loss of employment or the loss of our businesses because of our own religious positions.
We have gone too far when our cultural confusion demands that we equate skin color and sex (per Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act) with that which thousands of years of human society has considered to be sexual deviancy, or with what the Bible calls an abomination to God.
If we are to maintain our Christian compassion for mankind, we must not be complicit in affirming that which will, in the end, destroy us. | | Interim Study on Vaccinations HEARING FUND RAISER September 10, 2019 | | There will be a 1:30 PM meeting on Tuesday, September 10, at the Oklahoma Capitol to hear Del Bigtree, the award-winning executive producer of the movie Vaxxed. The meeting will be in Room 432A.
Later that evening, from 7 PM to 9 PM, a fund-raising dinner will feature Del Bigtree. Liza Greve, President of Oklahomans for Health and Parental Rights (OHPR), is launching the first annual Freedom will ROAR fundraising dinner. This is a newly formed nonprofit seeking to educate Oklahoma communities on medical privacy, health choice, parental rights, and informed consent. The goal is to develop funds to provide educational materials to schools, churches, and to the OHPR activists state-wide! More information here. | |
Trump Defunds Planned Parenthood | | Two weeks ago, Planned Parenthood announced it will be no longer receiving their customary $60 million in annual Title X grants. Thanks to President Trump's Protect Life (Title X) Rule. The new rule mandates that Title X providers maintain physical, and financial separation from locations which provide abortions.
Please go to the AFA link here to thank the president for his outstanding leadership in saving the taxpayer these funds. | | Showing how far our "mainstream" news media have drifted, NBC News is in an uproar over the move. They complain about this taking taxpayer money out of the pockets of illegal aliens! The news outlet complains on behalf of the illegal aliens who want you to fund their abortion: "Their desperation will be measured in the de facto abortion tax they will pay: not just the added time and cost of driving to a faraway clinic, but also...the psychological stress an undocumented single mother endures when she spends the last of her savings and takes risks of travelling across state lines while trying to avoid exposing herself to immigration authorities." | | The OCPAC compact with City Elders is significant for both organizations. Most importantly, it is significant for the future of Oklahoma. Consider making plans to attend the Grand Opening banquet in Tulsa Friday night, October 4, 2019. It is a fund raiser. Dinner is $100 per plate.
