New Book Recommendations | | Forgotten Foundations: Secular Myths of Multiculturalism by Bob Linn | Dr. James Taylor will be addressing the immigration crisis in this week’s OCPAC meeting. Beneath the surface of this national furor is the loss of the most vital elements of America’s political foundation. The secular myths inherent in multiculturalism have eaten away the vital portions of America’s infrastructure. Samuel Blumenfeld & Alex Newman (OCPAC’s featured speaker next month) point this out in their book, Crimes of the Educators. They state on page 231, “Multiculturalism is an important stepping stone to globalism, that concept of a future world government that the public schools are promoting as aggressively as ever.”
So … we have been invaded from all directions. From without (our borders), we invite millions with no desire to become Americans to access our schools, hospitals, and voting booths. From within, our schools demonize our Christian foundations. America's classrooms exult the very elements of nations whose failed cultures drive families to our borders.
Unlike immigrants of other generations, today’s immigrants make no connection between Christianity and the prosperity they find in the U.S.A. This is no surprise. Even most American conservative activists and leaders fail to see the connection. Something Blumenfeld and Newman call mindless patriotism.
Our parents, pastors, and professors have not seen fit to explain that it is Christianity which gives “conservatism” its life. An idea has life and substance only when connected to the Word of God. This well documented concept is known today only because there are still some on American soil who read books! Thankfully, Yale professor David Gelernter is among those who do. | Twelve years ago, Dr Gelernter turned his reading into a book designed to educate a new generation of Americans adrift in a sea of cultural ignorance. His title says a lot: Americanism: The Fourth Great Western Religion. He opens with this: “I will argue that America is no secular republic; it’s a biblical republic. Americanism doesn’t merely announce the nation’s ideals on its own authority; it speaks on behalf of the Bible and the Bible’s God, as Lincoln did in his Second Inaugural Address. Its goal is for America to move forward ‘with firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right,’ as Lincoln said in the same speech.”
David Gelernter, Americanism: The Fourth Great Western Religion, P1 | Dr Gelernter seeks to uncover the foundation of the world’s greatest nation. The work of unveiling is required because the foundation has been concealed by government schools for many years. One example is the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). Forty years ago, the NCATE made multiculturalism central to its teacher training. Their manual states that, “Multicultural education…is preparation for the social, political, and economic realities that individuals experience in culturally diverse and complex human encounters…Multicultural education would include, but would not be limited to experiences which … promote … racism, sexism, and the parity of power … develop skills for values clarification …”
Donna M. Gollnick, Multicultural Education in Teacher Education: The State of the Scene, American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, Washington D. C., February 1978.
Values clarification means that moral absolutes and truth (Biblical presuppositions) have been eliminated from the classroom. | Immigration represents the hopes of the left for a growing voter base. It is founded on a well-established effort to devalue what it means to live on American soil. James Taylor will bring his usual excellence to OCPAC. Come and increase your understanding of the immigration issues in America today. | Charl Van Wyk gave a powerful presentation of the history of South Africa. We got a glimpse of the ravages of Marxist devastation in South Africa. These same Marxists, re-named, threaten to destroy America. Please watch the video and join the battle!

THANKS! | I'd like to invite you to bring your children and grandchildren to the weekly OCPAC meetings. Build a foundation for the role of Biblical thought in their political views. Only as we train our future leaders will we be able to anticipate the maturing of the Kingdom of God expressed both through the church and through the State. | Help Right The Ship in Oklahoma! EPIC Charter Schools Returning Educational Options to Parents | | It has been five months since the Tulsa World announced that the OSBI and FBI were investigating EPIC charter schools. The assets of these agencies have been expended for six years in an effort the educational elite hope will find some indication of wrong-doing. They have found nothing but new ways to spin bureaucratic wheels.
On the other hand, the EPIC charter schools have returned educational decision-making to Oklahoma families. Now, that is a big deal!
There are more than thirty entities who contribute tax money to Oklahoma's school districts. This includes, in approximate figures, local (30%), state (60%), and Federal (10%) sources. EPIC is allowed to use only 60% of the funds used by the rest of the districts. Giving parents educational options means re-connecting parents to their children’s educational funding. This is a threat to the OEA and the NEA. It is a model of hope for the future of the American family.
The NEA and the OEA are committed to hanging on to their successful re-molding of a once great Christian nation. Their statist dreams have been enabled by using our tax dollars to fuel their government educational bureaucracy. Only as we re-claim these tax dollars for the families for which they were intended will America become a great Christian nation again! EPIC is only the beginning.
The role of the NEA in America’s educational crisis is obvious to those who have not succumbed to the Marxist ideology. The successful re-shaping of American culture by the government educational system from elementary school through the university environment is seen through the extent of its impact on the American voter base. The composition of our United States Congress is proof! | | On a weekly basis, Twenty-nine-year old United States Congressman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, (D-N.Y.), makes the point as well as any. The absurd nature of her rhetoric was pointed out by another millennial who is not duped by the socialist deceit.
This past April, the very lucid comments of University of Wisconsin MBA student, Alyssa Ahlgren pointed out the proofs of mis-education in the rhetoric of Congresswoman Cortez. | | The Foundation for Economic Education published Ahlgren's comments. Here is an abbreviated version of her comments both on her generation in general, and AOC, the previously mentioned congresswomen who represents them:
“I’m sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis and scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of Democratic candidates calling for policies to “fix” the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around.
I see people talking freely, working on their MacBooks, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we’ve become completely blind to it. Vehicles, food, technology, freedom to associate with whom we choose.
We are so well off here in the United States that our poverty line begins 31 times above the global average. Virtually no one in the United States is considered poor by global standards. We are unappreciative, unsatisfied, and ungrateful. My generation is being indoctrinated by a mainstream narrative as the popularity of socialist policies among my generation continues to grow.” | | The destructive nature of American education in American politics is then emphasized when Alyssa Ahlgren reflects on comments made by Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez a few weeks earlier. Ahlgren quotes the Newsweek interview of Cortez, who said of her millennial generation, “An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest electorates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity.”
To appreciate Ahlgren’s assessment of the cognitive dysfunction of the mis-led congresswoman, read complete comments here. All this is a reflection on the nature of the indoctrination of American education. | | The American problem does not originate in Washington’s Congressional delegation nor in the American voting booth. It begins with our children’s educational foundation. Until American’s demand Christian education in exchange for their educational dollars, we will eventually become the U.S.S.R., Cuba, Venezuela, or the many other ruined nations culturally and economically bankrupted by Marxism.
Thank you, Governor Stitt, for standing up for EPIC last week. Educational choice is our only pathway to making America great again! Go, EPIC, and go Oklahoma families! | |

The annual meeting of the union representing government school teachers met and passed Business Item 56.
The item honors non-binary (aka genderqueer indicating a spectrum of gender identities not exclusively either masculine of feminine) & trans people (people who think they are of a gender other than indicated on their birth certificate).
Equally regrettable, it affirms the moral validity of Roe v. Wade and the right to murder pre-born children.
As mentioned earlier in this OCPAC email, the NEA (National Education Association) is interested first and foremost in transforming America from a Christian nation to a secular, statist, Marxist nation. Of course, the OEA (Oklahoma Education Association) is an NEA affiliate.
